Not really much to say. The fish was ok. It was lightly seasoned. I didn't like my Mac n cheese because it wasn't cheesy enough. That's my preference though. However. I will return because there are some other items on the menu that I would like to try on my next visit.
Everything was amazing! Going to let everyone I know that goes to St Louis to stop here for bbq. The sauce on the ribs my wife got was great. The catfish breading and seasoning I got was perfect. The fried chicken wings my youngest got was probably the best I've ever had! We will be back!

The customer service is amazing. The young lady behind the counter treated me so great and was very nice. The place is spacious and the music was jamming. The food is fireeeeee; fries were seasoned with a special sauce. The catfish was cooked to perfection. I had recommend they do catfish tacos or shrimp lol. Will continue to support.
I started working on the same street as Tooties and decided to grab lunch one day. That one turned into a Tuesday Thru Saturday visit, lol! All of the side dishes are WELL seasoned! Customer service is consistent and personable. Love it there and I highly recommend!
So I got the rib tip plate. Nothing about this taste grilled, more like oven baked and day old meat too. Meat very hard, not tender, alot of gristle plus sauce is super sweet. Definitely not worth 20 bucks, dont get much. Didnt like it, won't be going back. FYI it's only early afternoon 12:45 to be exact IJS
Food is great, good portion, price and staff is really nice. Only reason for the 4 star vs 5 star is the bad communication. I got the catfish with fries and coleslaw. Requested a substitution for potato salad instead of fries, I noticed on the receipt I was charged an extra $2.50 for the potato salad so I asked if there was a substitution fee and waitress told me yes. Okay not an issue but would have been cool to know ahead of time or have it shown on the menu. When my food was ready the waitress actually refunded me the charge which was unexpected and super nice. So now I'm confused if there is a substitution charge, if the charge was an error, or if she was just being nice and comped me? When I finally sat down to eat I noticed I didn't get my coleslaw.
Lol so yeah I don't suggest substituting anything and always check your food before leaving. Highly suggest the catfish though, probably the best I've had, nicely seasoned with great crunch. The wings were only so so for me.
I typically don't post reviews of restaurants until I visit a few times. But this one is 5 star right in the heart of St. Louis! The fish was served hot and seasoned just right! Our server and service was excellent! Definitely going back
Rib tips were ???? ???? ???? Sides were delicious too, flavorful with big portions. Potato salad, fries, mac n cheese, beans, all of it was outstanding.
Vibe was relaxed and everyone was super welcoming. Tootie herself came by a couple of times just to check in.
This place is special.
