Food was good, service was great. They actually let us order something that wasn’t even on the menu and it was great. Could stand to be updated but I was glad that we chose to go here rather than the breakfast/lunch place up the street that made us feel like we were invading their space as soon as we walked in the door.
Ordered a Chile Relleno Burrito, wonderful service & the food is great. I don’t know why I see bad reviews about the chile relleno, because ours is delicious! Home made tasting, & very authentic. Very happy.
Stopped by for an early quick lunch. Received friendly service and prices very reasonable $4-6 a la carte items. Unfortunately the chips were stale and the main dishes were overly cheesy with not a ton of flavor. Was good for a quick and cheap option.
Cold chips, salsa tasted burnt and overall just bad. Food was edible. The server was nice but awol most of our visit. We had to wave him down for our check after waiting for 20 minutes. I don't recommend. The only good thing was the horchata.
We traveled down Hwy 101 from the San Francisco Bay area and stopped at the entrance to this beautiful small town of Buellton, CA. Our later morning Breakfast was at this wonderful restaurant. The food was great, as well as the hospitality. Peaceful atmosphere and genuine Mexican cuisine.
The food was amazing just went there with a party of 15 people table was all set up and the waiter was attentive to us. I will for sure return
Have to say the same as the previous review from FOUR YEARS AGO! My friend tried the chile relleno and yes he described it perfectly, I would say the chile they used was from a jar "Tostito" style. I tried the green enchiladas and they were just as bad, the salsa they used was an avocado one, also looked like it came from a can. The refried beans and cheese were probably the best thing we had. Chips were stale and the mild salsa tasted like it was going bad. The server was pleasant and was quick with everything.
It is everything one can ask for in a small Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent and we'll priced. Dog friendly patio. I especially enjoyed the Chile rellenos. They also have Corona familiar which is a seldom offered favorite of mine.
