Over the past year my wife & I have been trying all sorts of new places, that we stumbled across in a foodie group, but when it came down to choosing a place for our anniversary dinner.. we picked a familiar favorite.. Tony's Steaks & Seafood. The food is consistently excellent. The service & ambiance is top notch as well. If you've never been, I'd suggest you give them a shot.. ask for Alexander Williams, he'll take good care of you. Next year we plan on finding more hidden gems to try out, but when another special occasion rolls around.. chances are we'll be back at Tony's..????
Tony's of Indianapolis Steakhouse provides an exceptional dining experience that surpasses expectations!! Truly my very favorite steakhouse!! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere exuded relaxation, setting the perfect tone for a memorable celebration. My husband treated my son and me to Tony's for our birthdays, and it was an unforgettable experience. The steaks were simply divine, easily ranking as the best I've ever had in Indianapolis. Our server, Alexander, played a pivotal role in enhancing our evening. His attentiveness and extensive knowledge of the menu ensured that we made the perfect selections. With a tenure at Tony's since its opening, Alexander's expertise shone through, making our dining experience truly amazing. In addition to the outstanding service from Alexander, we were delighted when Tony, the owner, made a personal visit to our table. His warm demeanor and genuine interest in ensuring our satisfaction added an extra layer of hospitality to our dining experience. It was a pleasure to converse with him, and his presence further exemplified the dedication to excellence that Tony's of Indianapolis Steakhouse upholds.
We came here for a birthday with a group of 7 and everything was amazing. Drinks were well-made, food was stellar, and our service was great. The server recommended many dishes and it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend a reservation and to come early to find parking. There was live music and it was a nice atmosphere. They also have some of the best mashed potatoes ever!
I can’t recommend this place enough for an excellent steak. My buddy and I came to Indiana for a few basketball games and naturally had St Elmo’s circled for our first dinner and it was pretty underwhelming. We got a few recommendations from Indy locals and they all sent us here. The porterhouse was the best steak I’ve ever had. Oysters were excellent, and service was impeccable. Definitely worth the price tag here!
This place was recommended by a local and did not disappoint. I had pretty high expectations coming in and still left impressed.
The appetizers are generously portioned (ok, they're massive) and designed for sharing. The crab cake was unlike any other I've tried - full of actual crab meat! The steak tartar was probably the best I've had, and the filet mignon was beautifully cooked and seasoned perfectly without the need of a sauce.
The wine list is extensive and I Pinot Noir we got off the half bottle menu was fruity and full bodied. A great pairing with the steak.
This is a must , not cheap at all but worth every penny . My wife and me went here for a date night and everything was perfect. Food ,service, and the place made you feel like you are the king or queen. With that being said , service. Our waiter was out standing if i didnt go back for the food id go back for the service. They are very luck to have bryce . My wife and i have been through like 23 states and he has made this place stand out above all the places we have been too.
Had the Chilean Sea Bass and Mussels. Best mea of my life. The waiter was very knowledgeable on everything we asked about. 6/5, I’d rate it higher if I could
The atmosphere was welcoming walking in, the love jazz music on a Friday was a nice touch and set the mood. We were guided to the bar and given delicious cocktails prior to going to our table. There we were served by Bill Turner. He did a great job explaining the menu and was prompt and frequet with service. The whole staff was great and provided us a welcoming a caring meal. My steak was cooked perfectly and the dessert bourbon cake was delicious. I recommend 10 put of 10 times.
