My husband and I had a civil ceremony at the courthouse and wanted to do something afterwards with our family and friends. We decided to have an after party/reception at Tony’s! This was perfect! I have many great things to say.
First off, Liberty was very helpful and kind to us throughout the process and explained everything thoroughly.
We had about 50 guests and rented out the back of the bar and their game room. It was the perfect amount of space. The game room was great for the kids.
We ordered 10 pizzas and everyone loved them! We ended up ordering about 3 more because we started running low- but that wasn’t a problem for the staff and they made them up super quick.
They helped me set up all of the decor and did clean up for us.
They made sure they were there when the cake was delivered and put it in the cooler for us- this was great because it was one less thing for me to worry about!
We got some great pictures in and outside the building.
The atmosphere is romantic—great for a casual wedding party or date night!!
My husband and I are locals and have been to Tony’s many times in the past. I would recommend them for any event or even just to walk in on a random night and have dinner. 10/10 experience ????????????
Cheese please!!! Fresh cheese! House made sausage! Beautiful greens! Perfect outdoor setting! What more could you ask for? Delicious crust on a huge NY style pizza will fill up any hungry cyclist traveler or local looking for a large meal. Wash it back with a cold refreshing drink from the tap and your night will be fulfilled.
Had a great time with a large group of 10 plus a baby on a Thursday evening. The pizza is delicious!! Plenty of TVs, pool table, games, etc for a game night as well as a large bar. Really liked the atmosphere and had an awesome time, great service too. Highly recommended!
Lots of Gluten free options! Gluten free boneless wings and the fried mozzarella sticks are amazing. They just got gluten free hoagie bread for their sandwiches, which I'll be trying next time. Dedicated fryer for gluten free items.
Every time I've stopped in the restaurant has only had a couple other tables. I've gotten great service every time with super fast, delicious food.
Ambiance: I like the atmosphere and ambiance. The outdoor sitting in the back is pretty cool, too.
Food: Food tastes great! From pizza to salad to all sides are fantastic. It is a little pricey, and the drinks are a little pricey, too.
Service: I have been here plenty of times over the past few years, and the kitchen and the bar have always been extremely slow. The servers are very respectful and kept on checking in frequently, while we wait for our food for an average of 70 minutes. Complete in and out time for this restaurant has never been less than 2 hours for me, even though the place is not super packed.
Tony's has great pizza. I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing yourself a bite to eat. The bread sticks are delicious also. In the middle of all the fun, you have a great pizza spot!
Ordered a pizza to go due to hearing many glowing reports of their pizza. From pickup to the 10 minute drive home, the pizza was very cold...not even warm. The sausage was spicy and $30 for a pizza that when I picked up the box it felt empty, we did not feel that the quality fit the price.
The inside looked neat and clean.
The hostess wasn't rude but didn't try to be friendly.
We probably will not choose to go back unless friends suggest it sometime.
Visiting from the Quad Cities, we were enthused to try a recommended pizza joint in the downtown Cedar Falls area. It was a Friday evening and things started out well with prompt seating and friendly service. However, it took well over 45 minutes to receive our food, which was greater than expected. The pizzas were good, but a little pricey for thin crust in my opinion. I would come again, but I’ve had better.
