I had my mouth ready for some tasty grilled fish… well this fish doesn’t look grilled and it was bland , no seasoning at all! Yuck. One bite is all it took for me to throw $21 into the trash.
My friend ordered the beef fajitas. What he got was slop. Fajitas are supposed to come grilled and sizzling. His was like a cold chopped salad. His "guacamole" was literally liquid.
Worst of all, when we took this slop the counter, the lady working the register didn't care. She refused to remake the food, refused to let him order something else, refused to give refund. Awful food, awful service.

I was a bit skeptical of going to Tony's because I had never heard of them since this is my first time in SD, but I'm glad I did. The portion you got for the machaca plate, which I randomly chose, was amazing. I ate it around 930am and think it'll hold me over until late afternoon! Thanks for the experience Tony's.
I used the drive-thru, it is set up awkwardly if you are by yourself but the girl was awesome and made the experience amazing. The food is enormous and you can get a beer to go to compliment your food if you choose. I did. I got the carne asada nachos, they are amazing. I also got a breakfast burrito it is huge. Nachos, ultimate breakfast burrito and 2 negra modelos was $30. Overall completely satisfied with pricing, food size, and food quality. Wish I would have gone there sooner.
We were visiting from Washington and tried this place for dinner. I had chicken enchiladas, and they were wonderful. I would go to this place all the time if I lived local. The service was so amazing. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent customer service!
Had a carnitas taco, absolutely overflowing with meat. Delicious! Only needed the one. Made the taco into a combo, which included rice, beans, and a drink. The beans were luke warm, which is my only complaint about the food. The rice was moist and tasty, and the horchata was heavenly. We also ordered the chicken flautas, which we enjoyed: well-seasoned chicken in crispy fried tortillas, and topped with really good guacamole and sour cream.
We utilized the drive thru for our order. Service was fast and friendly. Food was served hot, plentiful and delicious. Prices are reasonable and the quantities are plentiful. Good value.
Straight forward spot for the usual taqueria fare. The food is fresh and service is fast. Dine in, take out and drive thru are all available. Salsa bar with 4-5 house made salsas available.
