My chicken fried steak breakfast at Tony's Diner was a real winner. The chicken itself was tender and juicy, perfectly cooked through its thick cut. The breading had a delightful crunch that wasn't greasy, and the accompanying gravy was rich and flavorful. It was a hearty portion that left me completely satisfied, and absolutely hit the spot for a delicious and comforting breakfast.
We thought we would give it a try because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed!!
The server was very nice and very good at serving. She was attentive to us.
I would definitely go back.
It's not good. It charged me for a drink that came with the meal, called the owner, and wouldn't refund it! Too bad I was a weekly customer, and now I won't return. Don't say I understand, then charge me for something when the receipt comes with it. Never had to pay for a drink before and sometimes forgot about it and didn't have it anyway!
The whole experience was horrible. I went through the drive through and waited about 5 min until I called them on my phone and asked if the speaker was working, it was not and they didn't have a sign saying it didn't. I ordered, pulled up to the window and waited. While I waited, a guy in a pickup Parks behind the restaurant, gets out and throws away a bunch of containers in the trash. He didn't have a shirt on but had suspenders, walked into the employee entrance and came back out with another container that he was drinking and then left. Another employee comes out and sits between the restaurant and my car about 5 feet away and starts smoking a cigarette so I closed my window so the smoke stops coming in my car. I look in the mirror and the employee is picking his nose before he goes back inside. Now I finally get my food after 18 minutes since I ordered. The food was horrible. I got hot green Chile fries and I don't get how it doesn't have any flavor. The only thing good I can say about it is, it was spicy green Chile and it was a pretty good portion. I don't get how it doesn't have flavor. I would not recommend eating here at all. It was such a horrible experience and definitely not worth it
Great food, came here during a competition down in Raton, NM and it was only a 30 min drive, but it was 100% worth the drive (plus the mountain pass between Raton and the diner was beautiful scenery). Was looking for a place to sit down and eat, and the diner came up practically first. Really glad we (my father and I) found it. Got the classic double cheeseburger and my father got the grandfather sandwich, both were phenomenal! SUPER happy with both the food and service. Really good environment as well. Brought my dad back to “the good ol days”.????

I come here when I want a meal that taste like it was made from home instead of a restaurant if that makes sense. The food is good and the staff are friendly. I also like how the place has huge windows throughout so you can see outside and they have a fireplace witch is cool.
Drive thru should never be, I ordered a hamburger with fries. I waited 3o minutes, still no food, I finally left because I couldn't wait no more, had a doctor's appointment...I paid $11.00 for no food....terrible drive thru, someone has to come out to take your order....stupid stupid....I'm from New Mexico and never will go to Tony's Diner....RIP OFF

Everything was made to order can see that the hash browns are freshly made so was the pancake batter.
Hit the spot great flavors and taste.
Pancakes are so big you really might only be able to eat one :)

Everything was exceptional and I recommend this little spot right off highway 25!!!
Traveling up north and became hungry so needed to stop and grab a healthy meal!!!
