Got us in last minute due to a serpentine belt break in the car while we were in Tampa. Every where was busy, him included but he fit us in! Our baby greatly appreciated it too lol. Got us fixed up, was super nice and straight forward, checked over the car otherwise to make sure we safe and got us back on the road to home.
I waited a few months to post my review. Tony was recommended to me by another good mechanic. I had an incident where I ran over an object in the road during a road trip back from Virginia and it split open my oil pan. Car (Mercury Marauder) had about 136k, but ran smooth prior.
The vehicle wasn't finished for atleast 2-3 + weeks, I would assume because of Covid and the weather (the vehicle sat outside on a lift). When I left the shop it immediately started bucking and slipping gears. He told me to bring it back, but I already know how this story was going to play out.... "High mileage, history of maintenance, etc."
Ever since he dropped the transmission to replace the oil pan, my vehicle does not run the same and it has led to other problems as well. I'm not a mechanic, but I definitely know how to do my research and ask questions. I would rather have kept my 700$ and figured the situation at a later date. Just be mindful of the type of services you get done.
Tony is a good man though. I still recommend him. This situation is just frustrating.
I drive a 600hp Mustang Gt. The past several shops I’ve taken it to overcharged me and did very subpar work or simply refused to work on my car. One of my co workers suggested Tony’s because I was having issues with a previous repair. Not only did Tony take great care of my car and get the job done quickly he took care of another issue I was unaware of until the car was on the lift. This particular issue quite literally could have killed me if left unattended. Tony’s prices are very fair and he and his coworker were wonderful to do business with. I can’t thank them enough for their excellent service. In a time when customer service and quality work is hard to come by Tony’s truly will take care of you and your car.

Tony and I go back 25+ years. We met when he was a mechanic at Pep Boys, in the mid 90's. He then opened his shop on Anderson Rd. Tony is an honest mechanic and will work with you on pricing. He fixes things ONCE, you never have to worry about it again! An honest mechanic!
Been using Tony as my mechanic for nearly an eternity. Always does a great job, very thorough and has excellent diagnostic skills. Reasonable prices and usually a quick turn around time on repairs. I definitely recommend him for your auto repair and maintenance needs.
Hi , I have been going to Tony's for more than 15 years .
And Every repair I have left his shop Very Satisfied price and service wise . I found him when I worked in the area I live in safety Harbor now and I have AAA tow it if I can't drive it . I no longer work there but still go to Tony's . Very reasonable , Him and Isiy are friendly and I always get the correct diagnosis. I highly recommend them . And I just picked up my car today 5/30/19 and I asked him to change my transmission fluid because my jeep is about to hit 100, 000 miles He told me he checked he said it was good and doesn't need changing yet . very honest , any other mechanic would've done it anyway .
