Tried Tony & Penny's yesterday for the first time for lunch. Dined with my fiance & Father, who had been here before & had positive things to say. We were told that we could seat ourselves & enjoyed a very nice meal. The atmosphere was comfortable, clean & cozy. Specials were listed upon entering. Our waitress was friendly & pleasant. Service was great. My Dad ordered the Cajun swordfish, which he liked & had the kale soup with that, he also said was good, my fiance got the Roast Sirloin & mashed potatoes/veggies & a salad, he was happy with his choice, and I ordered the Chicken Francaise over linguine, and the chicken soup, which I enjoyed. Everything was delicious & freshly made, you could tell. Overall, I think Tony & Penny's is a nice restaurant that I would definitely recommend. They also have a private banquet room, for special functions/occasions. I don't venture out to Ludlow often, but I would stop in again, if in the area! Photo is of me & my Father.
One of the best places in town for Portuguese food for good prices. Usually a 30minute takeout wait. Great variety of dishes and each meal comes with a lot of food, they also haven't changed their prices at all while others in town have.

Shrimp Mocambique appetizer not impressive - fully in shell, so messy, flavor was like a Tabasco sauce. Not a flavorful/tasty combination but it is a hot spicy.
The oven roasted chicken bone-in was very good and moist.
The braised pork loin "Febras de Porco" was flavorful but inconsistent on texture per piece which is a hearty portion but it went between moist and dry.
The soup a kale with a potato base was very good.
The Home-Style Shrimp over rice with a garlic sauce was dull and lifeless - no taste.
Not a great experience overall. No flavor in the food, Kids food very salty, fried food over fried, gravy taste like it out of a jar, hot plate handed to me without being told it was burning hot, expresso martini tiny two sips. If you want good Portuguese food this is not the place unfortunately.
Entire family (30+) went to celebrate our late grandmother and almost all of us ended up with severe food poisoning.
Had to ask repeatedly for water.
No high chairs for little kids.
Our waitress was attentive and the food was wonderful. Nice and hot. We will definitely be back
One of the best places for take out, fair prices friendly staff their menu covers seafood to chicken, pork to steak. Tony & Penny’s serves Portuguese, Italian and American cuisine. One of the best Restaurants in Ludlow for sure.
Celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary here and the food and service was GREAT!
Fruit, Salad, Chicken, Beef, Beans, Rolls, Coffee...all excellent!
