Tony is the only guy I trust my car with. His attention to detail is amazing. Knows all the subtle nuances of an engine and what each sound means, each smell, the feel of the engine. It's like he's an engine whisperer. He's a really good guy too.
I took my daughter's car here for a/c work and valve cover gaskets. It was returned with broken bolts, parts just laying on the engine, and tools in the engine compartment! I took it back a second time to let him make it right, and nothing was fixed, another tool left in the vehicle, and now the hood won't open! ALL he did was take our money and won't make it right! Now we don't have the money to get it fixed properly! ???? I wouldn't take a Hotwheels car to him to fix!!!
My fuel filter went out in my truck yesterday. I called him up and he came out today (on Sunday) and replaced my filter. And I even asked him while he was here if he would charge my AC. $60, he came to my house, did the job he was supposed to do, did a job he wasn't scheduled to do, and now the truck runs better than it has in weeks and I finally have AC in 100° weather. (And it has UV ink in it in case there is a link so I can find it later. :) ) All-in-all, really satisfied with my service and would recommend to my family and friends. (I was recommended to him by a family member as well.)
11/14/2015 - I had my car towed this morning to Tony Boyd at 2301 W Jordan st. at about 9am. Fixed the two main problems (Belt and another part), then checked out my muffler and cleaned my battery terminals for free. He also did the brakes on my BFF's car recently, and did a good job. Still very happy with my service. I will definitely continue to use this guy.
I sent my vehicle to him for a rear passenger wheel bearing. He managed to rip the dash apart (?) and the rear wheel alignment is off so much that I bought two new tires a month ago...they have since gone bald and shredded as I was driving. He will also come beat on your door if you are less than 12 hours behind paying him. Do not trust this guy or his Dad. The car was in his Dad's garage because someone burned his shop down. I wonder who he pissed off. My car is in MUCH worse shape now than it was before he had it.
Didn't even want to give 1 star due to the fact that the dudes a liar. I sent my truck there on a Thursday to have my transmission rebulit, said originally or would only be a week or so to fix which was understandable considering the price he was quoting. My husband called after 4 or so days of not hearing anything, the guy said he was working on it and it would be done soon. After about a week and a half I decided to send my husband there to just see, little did we know our truck was still sitting in the same spot as we left it. Thank God he didn't touch anything so we can have it dent somewhere else. He's a crappy person forsure and very shady.
Sent my car to them 3x just to have them fix other things. And the car have the same problems. Refused to admit it was the alternator insisting it could be some thing else despite every other place saying it was the alternator
