I used Tony&Guy website to make an appointment and they called me to confirm that I realized the location change. They are on 281 instead of La Cantera. Always happy with Jila’s haircut. She did exactly what I asked her to do and my hair looks very stylist and I love it ????
I’ve been seeing Jakob for YEARS and he never disappoints. There were a couple years I moved away and was forced to start over with someone new in another state, but that didn’t last long. I’ve ended up waiting to come back home and make sure I have an appointment with him because no one does color and highlights like he can. I’ve always received compliments on my highlights my whole life thanks to him. He is the best! He’s been with me through all my hair color phases and delivers every single time. If you’re considering color or highlights, please see Jakob! I’ve been all over the US and still always come back to him.
Iv never paid $65 for a hair cut! Ever in my life! But i had Lorenzo cut my hair and he did an AMAZING job! He took his time. And made sure it was what i wanted and that it looked amazing! I am SO happy and will come back to him again for all of my hair needs!
Not to mention with all of the virus stuff going on right now the salon took every step necessary to ensure that getting your haircut was a very SAFE experience! And i really appreciate that!
Pathetic!!!!! I just drove an hour to get my daughters hair cut, got to the address listed on the website to find out that the salon is no longer here. It hasn’t been here since January!! 8 months!!!! When I called the salon they informed me that even though I have a confirmation number that they didn’t have us down. Waste of a day, waste of my gas!!!
I gave 2 stars for customer service and availability. They got me in within 30 minutes and everyone was very nice. I asked for long layers and the hair cut is not good. It’s so choppy and uneven which is unfortunate. It was pricey, in total I think I paid $100. Now I’ll have to pay more to get it fixed and I am not happy about it at all.
I have been going to T&G ever since the time I lived in London back from 2001-2006. Found T&G here and have been going since , I think they were located in North Star at one point . But anyway, I love T&G. I trust them with my hair coloring and hair cuts . They are incredibly nice and their training is constant and technique is top notch. I highly recommend JILA for your haircuts , I love her and she is a master at her craft . They are all amazing though .
Haircut was awful. They didnt blowdry my hair, as I said wanted to leave with it curly, so I left wet while it was raining and cold outside. I kept telling the stylist I like body, volume, and movement, yet she just kept curling my hair with her fingers and flattening the style. She said I should come back in 8 weeks to texture and add layer??!?! I came for it now and expect it at the appointment made for a cut and style. She told me Not to diffuse my curls?!?!
I just don't know what to make of this experience. I rewashed and diffused when I got home, and I am just devastated. The back looks like a square...no movement, no depth,and I look like I have a square helmet. No amount of consolation from the staff will change the opinion of my experience. The brand Toni and Guy is nice, but the staff at this location just do Not have what it takes to charge over $70 for a cut and style.
I give this place 1/2 Stars and that was for the friendliness.
Toni & Guy At La Cantera did amazing job on mine and my daughters hair. They were attentive to our wants and we felt like family by the time we left. I have never been treated with such care and attention. I drove from Austin to get my perm and wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out because I had never been at this shop before, but it was well worth the extra drive! I have received so many compliments on my hair. Try them out. You won’t be disappointed!
