Place is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but the food and drinks are incredible, and the owner very hospitable. The (vegetarian) tom kha kai soup was so very rich with lots of depth of flavour, and the lemongrass tea was a delight to share. Highly recommend.
They only take cash, so do make sure to have some pounds on hand! Otherwise there's an ATM 2min of a walk towards a coop supermarket.
It's authentic and very intimate. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. That was my first time at Tong Kanom after so many recommendations over a year and I will go again and again.
The service was absolutely fantastic. The waiter was helpful in his recommendations in the menu options.
I recommend the coconut rice with prawn dishes and the Prawns in Blanket with homemade dipping sauce was so delicious that my partner asked for second helping. It was his first time trying Thai food and he said it was the best meal he has eaten in the UK.
It was a quiet evening due to nice weather but the service remained spot on.
The waiter was so welcoming and sat us by the window. It was a lovely evening.
So glad we found this gem of a place. Extremely authentic restaurant with excellent service and great tasting food. Plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. No alcohol is served but you can bring your own ???? or ????!
Have been to so many Thai restaurants in Cardiff, Manchester, Oxford and London and this is one of the best Thai restaurants I haved dined in. The food is authentic and the staff are very polite and helpful. The food price is great . I liked the food so much that I dined there on two consecutive nights. Would go back on the next trip to London.
Without a question of doubt the best Thai food I have ever eaten! So delicious, and such a great variety of options. They pay the utmost attention to the flavours and delivery of the food. As a vegan the options are so broad almost every dish can be adjusted. Not to add how absolutely lovely the staff are! I go here every time I have family to stay. Remains a forever favourite!
It’s a shame that I have lived in the area for 10 years and I decided to go for dinner now …authentic Thai food ..reminded me of the time when I was living in Thailand ..Food is Superb ,I tried a fantastic fish salad with fresh mango,corriander,mint and mixed salad (explosion of flavours) and honestly the best Thom Kha Gai soup.

drunken noodles were very delicious and the right amount of spice. panang curry was so rich and flavourful. the portions were large so i thought i wouldn’t finish my meal but my food was so good i had to finish it all.
