I had a great experience using Tom for my move last week. He and his employees were very responsive friendly and helpful. I had a fairly large move and they went out of their way to make sure nothing was forgotten and was moved carefully. They were on time worked hard and quickly and within budget. I don’t plan on moving again but they would be who I called if I did. I would highly recommend them and tell you to not bother calling anyone else. I could not have been happier
We have used Tom’s Moving several times, most recently they moved my mother into an assisted living facility. Tom and his staff are very friendly, caring and professional. I highly recommend them and will never use another company.
I used Tom's to move from one town to another. I had several antique pieces, and they moved them very carefully and efficiently. They were careful, courteous, and accommodating
to my changing needs and requests. They even moved my remaining furniture from upstairs down to a location we could access more easily when we sell it. They were very hard working and we could tell how experienced they are. They handled break down and set up of a queen adjustable bed and many other furniture types. Overall, we were DELIGHTED and highly recommend them for your next move
The set price was $700 , but since they had to make 2 trips they upped it to $1000.. not sure if they understand what "set price" means

Moving back home and need one moving truck for high quality/ antique furniture moved and more expensive items like our tv, but company won't work with me, because I live in IL. We're moving to their home base of Washington, IN from 1.5 hours away. I'm willing to prepay the traveling rate, so that they feel confident in our working relationship.
Said that they only move folks within state lines, but won't say if that's an insurance/ legal issue. I'm hoping it is, but seems odd a moving company that can only operate legally in 1 state. Seems pretty self limiting.
Pretty sure the real issue is that I asked them to wear masks, because we have high risk family members like my father in stage 4 renal failure and myself who is asthmatic. Plus, 1 kid under 10 with an incompletely developed immune system. (All children under 10 have an incompletely developed immune system)
She suggested I hire someone locally, but there's no local movers here, and they'll have to drive all the way back over 1.5 hours, instead of 5-10 minutes across town after unloading.
Courteous and professional service. Furniture was well packed and protected. Very reasonable price. I would highly recommend.
This is the best place to call if you are moving they are very sweet people and are very careful with you things I will be using them again in the future if I ever move again ...Thank you guys so much
