By far my favorite bar. I've been frequenting here for the few years, and after I moved a couple hours away, I always make sure to stop by when my husband and I are in town. Very cozy and laid back, I've never had a bad drink or poor service. Everything is great, and Dave can make a damn fine burger. I highly recommend Thursday burger night, Friday fish fry, and weekend steak sandwich. They are closed on Mondays, so don't show up or you'll be highly disappointed! I can't find anything bad to say about Tomczak's Tap!
What a great place socialize while tasting your favorite beverage! I met my wife here, 25 years ago! Beside the nice patrons, the staff is great too! Their lunch is a real treat, very tasty and cooked to perfection. Their Friday Fish Fry in Beer Batter is talked about for miles as the "BEST" around! Nothing fancy of prejudice here, just down to earth place to go and best of all it is priced right!

No longer all you can eat but you still have three types of fish to choose from, cod, perch and catfish! We had the cod and perch and they were delicious! Catfish on the next visit!
We used to frequent this place in the 70s and 80s, still a friendly local tap! We'll be back!

Great burger great service Jen our bartender/server is amazing. I was always amazed at how super clean everything is. Five Buck burger comes out hot fresh, fries right out of the cooker. Deeelish! Not alot of "Joints" left. Closest thing I've seen in a while. Almost hate to give the review because I don't want it to be so crowded next time I go there ????. Thank you for having a real bar restaurants that is not a chain. ❤️❤️❤️
We ate here for few times. Simple food but tasty. I like their fried fish. Not salty. Very light coating and good price. I definitely will try their fried chicken next time.
Small dive bar look and feel because it is. It's an intimate noisy neighborhood place. Can never be mistaken as a corporate chain, but that's what's good about it. They have a killer Friday night fish fry. Good sandwiches, nice staff. Place gets packed, so they have to be doing something right!
OMG I hesitate to tell you how good this place really is; but as God has instructed, I shall not lie. The fried fish is amazing! Soooooo fresh.... Served so perfectly hot.... with everything u could want... amazing tartar sauce, perfectly fried fries, warm garlic bread, coleslaw (removed it immediately as hot coleslaw is no good) and And AND the people who work here are such nice people (and no I don't work here!) Even my kids love their fish! Some like perch, others prefer the catfish and cod...omg I love them all!!! I think it's only fish on Fridays, but it's not just during Lent, it's all year long! During Lent, lol get the fish for lunch bcuz if u wait for dinner, it might be gone. It's actually not in my best interest to tell u how good this place actually is.... ugh..I hope I don't regret this. Please save some fish for me!!!! You can also call ahead and get it to go. You can even eat it in your car if you can't wait (yep... and I enjoyed every bite!)
Wow. Absolutely terrible. Teeny tiny place, kept getting told where we were standing we couldn't be. I asked simply where my 11 year old daughter and I could stand. The owner came out from the kitchen and yelled at us, that if we couldn't stay out of the way we should just leave..... so we left. I've never been treated so badly. My daughter was tearing up as we were leaving and asked why the guy yelled at us. I didn't have an answer for her.... If you have ANY OTHER choices choose somewhere else.
