Very friendly owner. Go past a lot but never stopped. “Why didn’t I stop sooner” Fresh ingredients and homemade burgers. Reasonable prices and cooked to order. Will definitely be returning 10/10
Travel all over the UK for work and this is by far one of the best butty vans in the country... found this place last Monday and went there for lunch everyday that week.
Amazing burgers really friendly service top quality ingredients tried bacon and sausage bap that was spot on as well. Well worth the stop and from now on will be regular. Update burgers still amazing with the addition of potato salad it was divine ????????????

We only live a short distance from this place and had assumed it was just another "greasy spoon" type of takeaway and then we saw it featured on Rick Stein's Cornwall and vowed to get there - I'm really glad we did.
It sits in a layby off the Truro to St Astell road (A390) and is well worth pulling off the road for.
We opted for a Classic burger and a Tomzilla - the latter coming with Camembert, Bacon and Pastrami. The Classic was described to me as the nicest ever and my Tomzilla was something else with a wonderful mix of flavours.
I've eaten burgers in many countries including a place in Florida that Oprah Winfrey rates as the best in the world - I can only assume that she's never been to Tom's as his are better. Incredible flavour with quality ingredients.

Called at Tom's Burgers on the A390 South of St Austell today and had The Mexican Burger.
Homemade beef patty, jalapenos,chorizo(declined, not a fan of chorizo) tomato and salad topped with sriracha and Mexican Sauce.
Absolutely delicious.

What’s not been said about Toms already doesn’t deserve mention his burgers are spectacular the man’s a true gent to chat to! Only thing missing is somewhere quieter to sit but can’t be helped he’s got a good spot and there’s no place like it for the normal working person wanting a god burger! Keep it up man
