Best mechanic around. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Being a female and going to a mechanic is always nerve-racking. But not here. They answer all of my questions and concerns. They are fast and consistent. I wouldn’t trust my families cars To any other mechanic!!!

Don't let the small shot fool you. These guys know their auto and can predict what might happen when repairing one thing and tell you what you need in order to keep your car in running order. Professional, down to earth, no fancy printouts like the dealerships do. Quality work. Highly recommend for peace of mind on your car!!!
I had a scheduled appointment on June 20, 2022 and drove over 15 miles one-way to have my 1993 GMC TYPHOON serviced and arrived to find the lot completely full with vehicles and impossible to park. I told one of the employees there that I had an appointment which he was aware of. He suggested that I come back the following day since they were so busy. I have been a good customer of Tom's Service Center for many years, but I found this to be totally unacceptable. Their mechanics are good, but the guy who does the scheduling of appointments needs to be re-trained about not overbooking, especially when a customer is driving a distance. I decided that it is in my best interest to no longer use this company especially since I learned that Tom who always ran a tight ship is now an absentee owner who no longer resides in NJ. There are too many other GOOGLE-rated excellent auto mechanics out there that would be more than happy to have my business.
We’ve been taking our car to Tom’s since we moved to the area in May of 2017. They always provide great service and their prices are more than fair. Unlike other mechanic shops, they’ve never tried to up-sell us. I would recommend them to anyone!
I have gone there for years and have had the best service of any automotive service center since working in north Jersey for the last 10 years. They are friendly, informative and hands down the best prices for any issue I've had with any vehicle I've owned. My wife literally took her car for the first time today and they have given pricing hundreds of dollars less than any location we went to. Will always bring our vehicles there!
