It was a cold and frosty night and as I walked in, was greeted by a young woman and Evan. What a difference a smile makes. My order was taken straight away, while waiting had a chin wag with the other customers. Who also were pleasant and friendly instead of awkward silence one gets while waiting. The food was excellent in quality, quantity and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend.
What a little gem. Found this take away on a sat out. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. Would definitely go back if in the area.
After reading a few of the reviews, I had expected much better.
Arrived home after a 5 minute walk and the papers holding our cod, chips and potato scallops was soaking in oil and falling apart.
The cod was encased in far too much batter, the scallops were like rocks and can someone tell me why all of the chips were like off cuts? All about 2-3 cm long.
Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures but cannot recommend this at all, even at £10.90 for two people. We dumped over half in the bin.
The best chinese in southport, been going for years and the quality and service has always been excellent.
Was an OK Chinese meal. I've had better. Service was fast, very fast which tells me it was a frozen meal heated up. Be awhile before I go back. 5/10
