This Fort Worth automotive leader has been around for a long time. Expect to get honest, courteous, and quality work when using Toms Brake and alignment here on Belknap. I recently had my brakes done and they took the time and extra labor to repair other important parts that needed to be done at no extra cost. Very much appreciate Toms for this. -Very Highly recommended.
Very terrible customer service. I brought my upper and lower control arms to Tom to have polyurethane bushing pressed into them. They called once I left the shop to tell me they would not press the lowers into place unless they were regular bushings. Okay fine I agreed. When they told me they were ready for pick up I noticed they scored up my lower control arm shafts pretty good. I buffed them out myself and went to install. The bushing were not pressed correctly because I could never get the shaft nut drawn up without the shaft spinning in the bushing. They charged me full price for a half ass alignment they would not take any responsibility for how they pressed my bushings. I took the car home fixed it myself and took it back only to be treated very poorly.
I will never recommend this place to anyone or will I ever come back.
Tom and Mike are excellent. They are straight shooters and do really good repair work at very reasonable prices. I have had several of my family's cars repaired there over the years and never had a problem. I've referred more than a handful of co workers for work there also and they are always very complimentary of the work and the price.
Honest people and very reasonable prices! He's saved me lots of money! His hours are a bit non traditional but he's semi retired and self employed so that's his perogative. I go to him during his business hours, he does an excellent job and doesn't charge me a small fortune.
Not sure if they ACTUALLY put on the pads I bring to them. I had them put on pads on my Honda not 6 months ago and it's making that grinding noise again, driver-front side. This seemed to happen on the same Honda not two years before, needing new pads and rotors turned. Makes me wonder if they're even putting the pads on at all. Very reasonable prices though.
Didn't hate this place but...I called before going in and they told me to come in and check my 05 Volvo to replace the rear shocks. Upon arrival and taking abt 10 seconds to look they told me they didn't have the tools to do the job !
I personally feel they should know this before I drive any distance to get an assessment.
Not happy
This place does a old style alignment, measurements no lasers that's not why I'm giving them a low rating. Took them my car to get the alignment done on Tuesday. today on Thursday I called them and said that it's pulling to the right a bit the mechanic proceeded to tell me there was no adjustment to fix that on my car. That there was nothing they could do it is just an excuse not to have to realign my car.
Took my car in because warped rotors were causing my steering wheel to shake whenever I stepped on the brakes and I needed the wheels balanced. The price was very affordable and they had my car back to me in just a few hours. I'll definitely use them again.
