Great service and enjoyed talking with Tom. He was honest an upfront with me over what repairs were needed to my minivan. I was dreading bringing in the car to the dealership and other places because of everything that needed to be done. His prices were the best in the entire area that I could find for replacement of my two front axles and some other service work that needed to be done. I will definitely be back in the future.
Tom has been the go-to guy for my whole family and, and he always does a great job. Honest, quick, affordable. The tire shop across the street is the same way! Both great guys!
Bought a pickup a week ago. Took it to a shop to put my snow plow on it. The mechanic said that there were only 4 blades left on the fan and the bottom piece of the radiator shroud was gone. It had new front inner fenders on it. He said it looks like it was hit in the front end.
My Wife called me on her way to work, told me her engine light came on. Called Tom's Automotive, and left a message. Tom returned my call, and told me to bring it in this morning. He ran the code, explained to me why it came on. Cleared it. He laughed when I asked him how much I owe him. Took him less than 5min. Can't wait to bring my Iroc-Z here. He told me early next year. He'll be ready.
Stop by to get a quote and spoke to Tom himself. He said to give him a call the next day and he would let me know how much the repair would be. I tried to call more than three times the following day as he asked and no one picked up the phone. The following day I decided just to drive by since I'm not to far from his location and spoke to a gentleman named Steve which is one of his mechanics as he informed me that Tom was off on Mondays. I told him what was wrong with my car and if he could possibly give me a quote, after about 10 minutes of speaking with him he said it should not be anymore than $300 max. I said perfect when can I bring it in. He said come back tomorrow and speak with Tom and he can get you all set up. When I came back the next day as he asked Tom had been there most of the day but had to run an errand. I said ok since Ive been here twice already can you please take my info down and please give it to Tom. He said no problem, that Tom would be back shortly and I will make sure he gets the message. So in Total I drove there 3 times and Tom never got back with me. Im not here to say that they are not good mechanics, since I never had the chance to get my car fixed with them, Im just saying, at least with my experience I would rate their customer service skills and communications very poor.
I cannot say enough good things about this shop. The epitome of a community business and I’ve been using them for years. Reasonable prices and fantastic staff - highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend!
