A great spot in this ghost town to stop and explore a very unique house. I mean, it's made of BOTTLES! Very cool, makes great photos, has a fun little "miniature town" and other items all around as well.
I need a little small detour that tells an interesting story about surviving in the desert with limited wood. It’s the most well preserved place in this little ghost town and I hope if I come back that they’ll make the inside available one day, or at least add more to look through the windows at.
Cool house made of beer bottles...it's a ???? drive. Make sure to bring water in case u break down
Interesting house in the center of Rhyolite with the external walls made of bottles. This was a common building technique in the old West when building materials were scarce and people used everything they could find. We saw another one in Calico Ghost Town.
Rhyolite is such an incredible town. The signs posted around are extremely informative, including for the bottle house! Truly a unique experience and worth the drive

Great find in the middle of nowhere. Rhyolite Ghost Town is worth visiting. Have a look at the cemetery too. Dusk adds to the atmosphere.
