I used to love Tom& Jerry's but these days it seems like no matter the location i go to i pay a ton of money and something is always missing. This time i went to state st location, asked for everything on the gyro and got onions and barely any tziki no tomatoes or feta. My curly fries were chewy with a bunch of burnt reg cut fries mixed in. The gyro meat was either overcooked or had been sitting around. Most disappointing $15 I've ever spent. I'll have to give Nicks a try next time.
Think they are remodeling or something. The place was in a bit of shambles. Saying that the gyro was knocked out good and just couldn't stop eating, but the chicken was tough and tasted like it sat around a bit, didn't finish them. The staff was super frendly and over all I would get the gyro again.
I’ve gone to all 4 locations and out of all 4 this is the location that maintains the authentic flavor on all items on the menu. The chilly at this location is a 10/10, nothing compared to the one from Loves Park.
Today was my first time here and let me tell you that food is on fire, I was contemplating getting the king size gyro but got the regular instead and it’s still huge. The staff is also friendly so I’ll definitely be coming back :)
Clean, friendly. Not the type of service you’d expect from fast food.
Great gyros and hot dogs. King sized to me was not worth it as it was too much food. The onions and tomatoes on the gyro were fresh and look good.
They have a Pepsi product touch screen soda machine that allows for customization of drinks.
The wavy fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Fried perfectly in clean oil.
The decor is dated (but clean), reminding me of Burger King in the 1990’s
I love these kind of restaurants. The little Greek places that carry every kind of "junk" food. I've only found them in the northern Illinois area.
Got a polish kielbasa, cheese fries and a pizza puff.
It's a counter service place that brings your food to the table, drive through, or delivery.
The service was quick and friendly.

I had a really good chicken sandwich from here at the location on Riverside. So I decided to try the location on East State Street that was closer to my house. I tried a buffalo chicken wrap and mozzarella sticks. I figured the buffalo chicken wrap would be safe since the menu seemed very big. I got home, with my food. I took a bite out of the wrap and it was, so gross, I don’t think I have ever had such a terrible chicken wrap in my life. I took about three bites total and put it in the trash. The mozzarella sticks were not as good either, barely hot, but I ate those instead for my lunch. The wrap and its taste left me feeling slightly nauseated all day. I don’t think I will be back. I am sure there are other good options on the menu but after having such a bad taste in my mouth all day from this food, I just will not be able to return. A total waste of $16.
Been driving by this place for years. Finally went in. Very glad we did. Is the best gyro in Northwest. Illinois will be coming here again and again
