They did my wedding cake, cookies and cupcakes and did an amazing job back in 2022. Last minute the person who was doing our cookies and cupcakes canceled and they were able to help us and were so kind. My husband and I are locals that grew up in Sandy back when it used to be a small town and tollgate has always had great service and a family like feel and that’s why we chose tollgate over anywhere else. We’ve been going here for over 20 years.
My family and I have been to Tollgate many times and never had a bad experience. If you want good food with a vintage setting, this is the best. Tollgate has a homey feel.
Love this place!!! When my sister in law works here “Brittany” she always makes my iced coffee so dang perfect!!!! She’s the best!!
I love getting my cinnamon rolls and breakfast croissant egg sandwich.
Gotta say, just about everyone working here is so great and friendly! Such a welcoming and cozy place to sit and talk with everyone.
you can enjoy your food and drinks with a good book to read or Whatever it is that you do to relax you most definitely can here. My all time favorite place to be… highly recommend <3
Sufficient. That's what I can describe this place. When I went there for lunch on a Sunday, it was busy. Real busy. That is possibly why my food took a long time for me to receive.
I had ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs which didn't have a whole lot of flavor. On the bright side, the plate was huge! The servers were friendly and took care of us the best and quickest they could.
The dining areas seemed clean and that is important for many people reading reviews. What WASN'T clean was the spoon that I got. There was debris on it. That kind of stuff happens but the staff needs to be more mindful of their utensils before they place them.
I would go here again but not during a busy time such as lunch on a Sunday.
I wemt here for brunch and ha d a great time, quick service, great food. And the cute gift shop was amazing offering a HUGE selection of old time feel decorations, food and souvenirs if you are passing through. The grounds were manicured very well and the ambience of the whole location was very cute for a change vs the regular, typical restaurants. Recommend for families or just yourself.
I had passed this place and wanted to stop in for years! Glad I did, but I thought it was a much bigger place. It’s a small cozy Mercantile with allot of cute and creative trinkets, candies, tableware and a coffee bar.
Great staff. Good tasting pastries. Love their coffees and lunches. Pastries have gotten significantly more expensive with inflation but still worth it. “Cannoli” is my favorite.
Always enjoyable. Food hot and somewhat fast.
