Cozy, lovely restaurant with impeccable food and excellent service. Friendly staff who are always happy to help. This place gives off a family vibe. More so, the location is extremely beautiful.

We are having the most fantastic time here at the Tolcarne Beach Colonial Rooms. What a room with a view! The service is impeccable as are the rooms and the food! Thank you all! Last night here will be back again for Christmas I’m sure!
We had a lovely breakfast with great service. We were 3 families with teenage child and we played some games as well as eating. The service was great with extra drinks offered regularly and at no point did we feel rushed. Thank you
After I drove for 5 hours to get here we checked in which was an hour after check in time, very excited to go eat dinner and enjoy the amazing view… We were told they are only serving a bbq tonight only. We mentioned to the waiter that we are both vegan and do they have an option for us he said he’d go check, he came back and said sorry it’s just meat and seafood. We drove here for one night, paid £400 for our room and have now had to spend our evening finding somewhere else for dinner. We had a gorgeous room for the night but unable to fully enjoy the views and atmosphere for most of the evening as we couldn’t eat there. Would have expected better customer service.
The next morning on checkout we walked past the restaurant and noticed there was a menu for the bbq and it said there was a mushroom dish which we could have had but we didn’t see the sign as it was dark and the staff member told us there was no vegan dish.
Ate in the restaurant. Superb food and friendly service. Would highly recommend

We stayed very last minute for one night and had breakfast included! We ate there for dinner and went all out 3 courses and a full lobster each! Dinner was lovely every course and the cocktails and quick service! The room well wow we were in the honeymoon suite and it was amazing just 2 things that frustrated me especially for the price 1. No fridge in the room to call it a honeymoon suite and have nowhere to put a bottle of champagne or anything found that a bit odd and not able to have fresh milk for the coffee in the room & the room was sooooo cold and no instructions on how to turn heating up or anything! Breakfast next morning was good not the best I've had! I had the pancakes and my husband had the fry-up! He enjoyed his thoroughly but I found pancakes dry and a little tastless! The views are something to never be forgotten and having a coffee on the balcony on the Saturday morning was something truly memorable!
I went to the colonial bar/restaurant back in the summer they had a special Sunday with a wonderful fish bar-b-Q including massive giant prawns mussels scallops crab lobster etc. Also Tom Lacey was singing with his guitar. I wasn’t that hungry so I had the mushroom tacos with a mini basket of fries, it was really nice and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
