Our team had a great meal at the food truck while passing through the area. Food was excellent. Several us us got hibachi entrees and one got a bento box. Also got sping rolls and everything was fantastic.
Pleasantly surprised was an understatement. I keep going back, I haven't had anything from them that wasn't worth the money. I usually just get one of the hibachi options and maybe one of their sushi rolls. The sushi isn't amazing but I'm probably getting a Woodlawn roll tonight.
Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse's food truck in Lincoln, IL, deserves a solid 5 stars! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food and service. The menu may be limited due to the food truck setup, but what they offer is simply delicious. The flavors were authentic, and the freshness of the ingredients really shone through. The staff was friendly and efficient, making our ordering experience smooth and enjoyable. If you're in the area and craving Japanese cuisine, this food truck is a hidden gem worth trying. I'll be a repeat customer for sure! They also strive to make your order correct if anything is wrong. They go above and beyond most places.

Portions are large.
Chicken had good flavor but it was fatty w/gristle. Noodles were way over done, to the point of being mushy. Vegetables werent done enough but had good flavor. Rangoon was ok.
Amazing food!! I got the steak bento box and I don’t think I could have gotten a better price. Around $15 dollars for a meal that filled me up. It got to me super fast and had amazing service. Thank you so much guys!!
I’ve been going here for a while and recently have been craving their sushi (im pregnant), I’ve had it a couple times a week and it’s ALWAYS consistently good! The guys who work there are so kind!!!
Food is always excellent here. If you like habachi food, this is THE place to go.
