Best KPortal Reviews

The food here did not disappoint. I went with some friends for am after work dinner and it was probably the best Korean dishes I've had in a while. I got combo TD because I couldn't decide on just one item so I got a mix of things, pork cutlet, tofu stew of course, and stone pot rice. It was an amazing mix of dishes. The tofu stew is their main attraction and it is so flavorful, 100% a must try if this is your first time here. The combos with all the sides for the table was a lot of food that definitely could be shared, I shared with myself cause it was too good. When the bill was all said and done it was like 25 - 30 per person with tip at a table of 4. If your a regular of a new comer looking for something new in K town, this is the spot.
Edit:
Now my go-to for any day I want easy Korean lunch. Service still leaves some to be desired but I love the cleanliness of the place, consistency of the meals, and proportions. Price is okay. I recommend the spicy beef soup, bulgogi/galbi, and namyeong.
Original:
Yummy food, easy to set lunch dates because meals are account for two. Service was ok, one lady server seemed to be rushing while the other guy was kind. Minus points for upcharging** with credit card payment.
Pretty decent beef tofu soup, but you get a very small portion of beef compared to other tofu soup shops I've been to. Their standard spiciness level is more than adequate, be prepared to huff and puff through your meal with spicy soup and piping hot rice.
The galbi was great, though it's unfortunate the bed of almost raw onions is more for show than eating.
The sides are pretty standard and the fried fish piece could have used some more seasoning, but was still good.
Came in for lunch and the kimchi stew is unreal! Also had a sweet potato noodle dish that was excellent. Service was great as well. We’ll be back for sure.
My wife absolutely loves Korean food and we've really enjoyed this place. I had the marinated pork and she had the short ribs. I took a picture of what the set looks like that's all included with it, with the soup. They play a lot of popular kpop music in the restaurant if that's your vibe (certainly is my wifes vibe) and they have Korean people serving and cooking the food which made it feel even more authentic. I've lived in Korea for a year and so I can say for sure that if you're craving an authentic Korean experience, come HERE!! It's the closest thing to legit Korean food.
We didn’t have patience for an hour wait at the other Korean BBQ restaurant across the street, so decided to give this a try… And oh boy - what a delight!!! No wait time, super quick and warm services, tasty food with so much more variety. We loved the fried mackerel and cold noodles the most! Agree on the slightly smaller portion but honestly it was affordable and I didn’t need to have a to go box after my meal - the combo is meant to allow you to try multiple things which is why the portions are halved and I thought that’s genius! Would definitely come back again and choose this over the other BBQ place ;)
Place is nice, the staff are awesome!
I got the cold noddles, they were Delicious but if you want good meat portion don't get it because it has only 2 slices of meat and half boiled egg but the flavors are good. The bulgogi is good but very small portion. The japchae is amazing it's a must try and their house made kimchi is probably one of my top kimchis ever. Enjoy!
We ordered fried squid legs and Combo F (for 2 people) including marinated sliced beef, clam tofu soup, 4 kinds of banchan, steamed rice and 2 fried fish. Surprisingly, the best was the squid legs. The beef and kimchi were too sweet, and the soup was blank with TWO clams only! The fried fish was similar to something you got from Mc Donald's. Overall not an authentic nor homemade taste as expected. And a bit overpriced.
