John had my car repair done in less than 2 hours. I am extremely pleased with the service and will return again without any hesitancy. Thank you John and crew for a very pleasant experience.
I have so many great things to say about Toby's. I would drive 30 miles just to have Toby's work on my car because that's how much I trust in them. This is one of the few honest mechanics I've ever met. Plus the prices are very very reasonable. Over the years it seems like more people have discovered this gem and it's been harder to get in. Here's why I gave it four stars. The work I had done on my car the last time I went was not what it once was. The problem I had was not fixed and because they are so busy John did not have time to really figure out what was causing my breaks to squeak. I knew that if Toby's couldn't figure it out then nobody could. I was wrong. I eventually found a mechanic who had the time and it turned out to be my hub, problem solved. When I went back to Toby's to ask for a refund they were kind enough to give me a partial refund. Toby's is a family owned shop and they treat their customers like family. If they weren't so busy I would still be taking my car there to this day but I don't have faith that they will be able to have the time to make a proper diagnosis so I need to find a new mechanic. Sad panda.
They do a great job resurfacing rotors, only took 2 hours for all 4 rotors.
Just ask for John the owner. Very honest mechanic. He won't try to sneak in a bunch of unneeded repairs like some other places. Very reasonable prices too. There's no waiting area though, so you will need to drop your car off and get a ride home.
I heard of this place by friends. Did not expect to need their help so soon. I will find out on Sat. What the problems are & the estimate. They have been in that location since 1965. They must be good to still be in business.....
John is a great mechanic and has done excellent work on our family's vehicles for many many years. He is always honest and gets the work done quickly. Highly recommended!
Very good shop. Honest and backs up their work. Everyone at our company take our personal and work vehicles there.
I've had a clutch replaced and my AC fixed there and they've been great.
