Best KPortal Reviews
This Chinese restaurant is situated in Arlington and offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Although some of their dishes have solid flavors and contain traces of MSG, they still taste good overall. The service is always excellent, and the restaurant is decorated with numerous paintings and Chinese objects that create a unique dining experience. Overall, we had a happy and satisfying experience with the restaurant.
Really impressed with this place! The staff is really nice and the decor makes for a really nice environment.
The food though was EXCELLENT, the General Tso's was the best I've had, sweet with just a little kick. The hot and sour soup was so good, and really thick, with a huge portion!
I asked our waiter Alex what his favorite pork dish was, and wow did he deliver. I wish I got the name of it, but it was incredible!!
The portions are generous here and you'll leave very happy with your meal, I really recommend giving this spot a try!
During our recent visit to our son in Falls Church, VA, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at TNR Cafe, a Chinese restaurant recommended by our son. He often frequents this establishment, so we decided to try it out. We ordered a few dishes for takeout, and we were blown away by the incredible flavors and perfect cooking. The Vegetable Spring Rolls were light and crispy, the Taiwanese-style Rice Noodles were delicious, and the Sauteed Lo Mein with Vegetables was flavorful and satisfying. The Kung Pao Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken were also standouts, with tender and succulent meat in both dishes. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in Arlington, VA.
Love their expansion and new decor; more inviting! The TNR used to be a small nearly "hole in the wall" kind of place. There is now a piano and lots of lanterns. Extensive menu with some highlights such as the Taiwanese style beef noodle. Would love to dine in at some point soon. Mostly for now I've only done take out but they are efficient.
Figured we would try this place on a whim. Thank God we did! By far one of the best Chinese food places I've ever been. Highly recommend the cashew nut chicken and the pan seared dumplings. Will be coming back in the near future!
It’s not a little cozy place anymore. It’s a bit elegant or kitsch with the oriental bar… but the food is good and the service is good. Not too expensive either. They are open with “continuous service” so you can eat dinner at 4:30 pm if you want to. The Mr and Mrs Tangy is organ meat… they also make bitter melon dishes… free refills on soft drinks. After 6 or 7, the lights go down and it gets a more clubby vibe. But during the day, it has a nice relaxed feel.., cozy, I guess. But it’s got lots of seating. Outdoors too.
Alex is the BEST Server and Winoana is a great server. I am so happy with this place. friendly nice people.I asked for the dumplings I was hectic since hard to find the good ones. However when it came to the table, the food is so good and the salad is so good, I would prefer another sauce for the dumplings but thank you so much for your service. The best Salad in the Area:Cucumber Salad oh wow what a salad.
Please keep this healthy amazing salad forever for us.thank you again I am happy every time after Mcklean Bibel Church to come and eat here.I would not recommend cleaning in front of people or wearing masks as well since people can touch their masks and serve while we eating but overall is good
I was visiting and 2 separate strangers on the street recommended this place. I am glad they did. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice. I ordered beef egg roll appetizer which was very meaty and large. It had great flavor. We also got crab rangoon which the others in my party really like. I thought it was average. We also got soup balls which are little rice things filled with a ball of meat and some soup. This is my first experience with this dish and I did not quite understand the fact that they were filled with soup so I was quite surprised when I tried to cut it in half and was met with a gush of soup. I have to say they were very tasty. For main course I've got a beef and some kind of thick rice noodle dish. I had never had this particular noodle before. The dish was very tasty but I'm not a fan of the consistency of the noodles. The tofu dish was very delicious and the sesame chicken was a huge portion and was very tasty. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant when I'm in the area again.
