I dealt with Alex for a transmission rebuild and his presale communication was outstanding, and his post-sale support and communication is even better. He's more interested in finding solutions than gouging customers. A rare feat in today's day and age.
My son has a 2020 2SS Camaro that we sent to TK performance to be rebuilt in February. We got the car completed in April. He drove the car for 300 miles (weren’t told of a break In period but decided wise to take it slow). After 300 miles car wouldn’t shift or have any acceleration. We took the car to a local (Utah) shop to have it looked at. The pan was completely full of clutch material. We had a filter and fluid change done and car was back to normal. We attributed that to break in. 150 miles later same thing. Again cars normal. Decided to actually start using the car and every 100 miles had the same issue. After 800 miles decided to take the car to a reputable transmission shop local to us. The transmission builder calls today to ask why we were running a 416 with 1k hp on stock transmission. We never told him that the transmission was supposedly built by TK to handle the combination. Local shop said the transmission had never been opened. So my son paid TK 4800 plus shipping from CA to OH and back roughly 7k for them to have never even opened the case and upgraded anything. I wouldn’t obviously recommend them to change a spark plug at this point and the person who answers the phone when I have called to rectify the situation is an arrogant, egotistical, pompous, self absorbed POS. It’s too bad a name that used to be synonymous with quality has reduced itself to ripping off young adults.
Big shout out to TK Performance! I own a 2015 Yukon XL and Tim and his team build WITHIN ONLY 4 HOURS a stage3 upgraded transmission for me BRAND NEW, FROM SCRATCH, TUNED IT IN AND GOT ME BACK ON THE ROAD‼️ ALL WITHIN 4 HOURS!!!
I was blown away! My respect and thank you to the team of TK Performance!!!

I bought a 2010 Acadia that they had rebuilt the engine on. I got their name from the maintenance papers. They always did good work fixing it what it would break down.
Its really hard these days to find a shop that 1) actually knows what they're doing 2) won't price gouge because of that and 3) goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Unfortunately TK wasn't my first stop when I initially moved to the area so they had to fix what a previous shop mucked up. After that, they went above and beyond helping me achieve the performance I wanted from my car while keeping it reliable. I can't speak highly enough of their work.
If I could leave zero stars I would.
First off I had them install cam in L83. I took motor to them. Easy job for them I had them do it because I work out of town and wanted to save time…5 weeks later.. “Charged more then agreed on”
Once I had motor installed I set up to have tuning done.
Tuning was completed charged an extra $100.00 then what was originally agreed on. But I was excited to have truck back on the road.. after getting truck back to house I noticed it has a idol issue. I have called 7 times talked to Tim himself each time and he said he would relay the message. 2 month later no call. Jokes on me.
I recently wrote a review that I need to retract! I wrote this after being upset over an issue that had nothing to do with TK Performance. Yes Tim built the car and did an absolute miracles job but I didn't buy the car from Tim, I bought the car from who he sold the car too. The C6Z that I have is an absolute monster and Tim spared no expense, and I mean NO expense! I had a transmission issue and took my frustrations out on here say! Tim had always answered all my elementary question without frustration because I am a first time Vette owner! Tim has a great shop with some great guys that work for him and I made the mistake of taking my car to someone else and am still paying the consequences of that! Long story short, they know what there doing and there's been no question they haven't answered! So my apologies for my subsequent previous review and hope to do buisness in the future!
They have done awesome work for me and will continue to take my mustang to this shop!
