Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon, requested a couple of original tattoos and TJ and his wife were extremely helpful and friendly. Tattoos look great for a reasonable price. I'll be back shortly for TJ to touch up a 30 year old tattoo he noticed that just needs some color
Good place to go if you want a freehand tattoo. TJ is a freehand Artist. So don't go in expecting for him to use a stencil. Because he wont.
I went in for my first tattoo about a month ago. I liked TJ’s artist work so much. His wife is very friend, the studio was neat and clean. I liked his work so much I went into his studio about 2 weeks ago for a second tattoo.
I came in last minute for a walk-in and they were incredibly accomadating and kind! Tj is a super talented man who free hands his work and I'm so happy I came to this place for my very first tattoo!

I had to have my tragus piercing removed due to an infection that had spread, so I went to the first place in the area that was open. The guy who helped remove it was very patient and knew what he was doing... I get really nervous with piercings and he made sure I was comfortable throughout the removal process. The piercing was swollen and stuck in my ear, and he removed it without causing any damage, and it is healing really well. The lady who was there at the front desk was very sweet as well. They did not charge me for their services since it was an emergency, so it was very kind of them to help me out.
My son who is 17 got 2 tattoos - we came here because they accept minors. I hesitate because of other reviews but they were very friendly and understanding of the pain of getting a tattoo- my son was very happy with the results - nice people- price was okay - place was clean-
Horrible experience. I echo the other reviews that say TJ is rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I didn’t get my original helix piercing done at TJ’s but the shop I got it at had an hour wait and all the other shops were closed or didn’t have a piercer on duty since it was a Monday. I called ahead to make sure they did jewelry changes on piercings not original to the shop and they said they did. I was thoroughly unimpressed by the inside of the shop. TJ had me sit in the main lobby the entire time instead of taking me in the back. From the moment I walked in he was gruff and seemed super annoyed that I was there even though there was no one else waiting. He seemed confused that I needed a hoop and brought out a stud first, then a hoop that was too small, and finally the right sized hoop. He asked me where I got my original piercing and then said, clearly annoyed, “well why didn’t you go back there?” He yanked and twisted and forced the hoop through and it hurt horribly. It hurt 10x more than the original piercing. At some point he said he might not even be able to get the earring through and he may have to re-pierce. He finally got it and fumbled with the ball for quite awhile before he finally got it on, hurting me quite a bit. I was quiet the whole time, not complaining at all. At some point he asked me if I was okay and when I said I was just sweating (from the pain but I didn’t say that) he said in a frustrated tone “why, I have a fan blowing on you?” I explained that I always sweat when getting tattoos or piercings. At no time during this experience did he ask for my ID or had me sign anything. 0/5 do not recommend. My experience at Alley Cat was so much better. Do not go here for any kind of piercing.
Walk in tattoo for my birthday today and they were extremely accommodating! Jesse worked with me to get what I had in mind. Extremely nice people too! The work Jesse did was great and I couldn’t be happier!
