I was stopping in Dudley overnight, and had bern looking online for a Chinese Takeaway nearby to my hotel.
I finally decided on Tividale Chef.
When I walked in, I was greeted with a large smile from the lady behind the counter, called Rose. What a lovely lady she is. My order was taken and paid for. Whilst waiting for it to be cooked, she was chatting away to me about random stuff. The cane furniture to sit on whilst waiting, along with the friendly chat was really welcoming. Not at all like my local Chinese Takeaways back home in Manchester.
When I got back to my hotel, I enjoyed the food too. I had Sweet n Sour King Prawn with Fried Rice with Prawn Crackers and banana fritters.
10/10 for this Takeaway ????????????
Very tidy place as you enter "At night time ". With plenty of seating to sit down and wait, I think they have old magazines for you to read if you have to wait for your order. Was very warm inside and it was a cold day outside that day. You will have trouble parking" and this was at night time" most of the parking places was occupied, by the residents. Didn't have to wait too long "ordered for two " got my customary Chinese calinder, all in 45 minutes plus small talk with the custodian "the owner " ,very nice lady . Then left and drove home. Okay if you don't want to cook and you need a meal or a treat for your self and or your family a place to try .
Use to live near by & always used it back in 2003, stop by there to find same owners Rose, ordered food really nice
Just ordered two meals, thought we would try somewhere different from our usual place. Was very disappointed gave the chicken to our dogs!
Food is ok only been here because of its convenience and nothing else nearby is any better.
Foo yung was over salty. Spicy dishes not spicy enough. Chips are good as is curry sauce.
Mini vegetable Spring rolls are ok not great fried rice dishes not tasty enough nor are the chow mein dishes either.
I could go on but overall everything here is just ok at best.
We all have different tastes etc this is not to mine.
The lady is very friendly for sure.

And it definitely will not be the last this place food was hot and absolutely delicious service was amazing polite and friendly when ordering over the phone and delivered with a polite and friendly manner.
Would give ten stars if I could as the food and service was outstanding

The bbq sauce and wontons were lovely
Unfortunately the rest wasn't very tasty at all, the sauce for the curry and satay chicken skewers was too thick and more like a paste, the chicken with mushrooms was more grease than sauce, and we nearly broke a tooth on the chicken balls as the were rock hard. Thought we would try a few basic things as you can't get them too wrong, most of it went in the bin though
Lovely customer service. I can tell they’re a big part of the community and it’s quite unique to other places I’ve been to.
