What a really nice auto shop. Very friendly and sincere. Professional, efficient, and courteous to the customers. The owner, Don, is so customer friendly. Staff are helpful and professional. Went there with no appointment and a vague sense of a vehicle issue. They put it on a lift, found the issue, and fixed it in 15 minutes. Then, basically thanked me for trusting them! Breath of fresh air!

On Thanksgiving Day we set off to go to our daughters for our family celebration. As soon as we got into our car we noticed a tire issue warning light. Every place we tried was closed for the holiday. I began calling every listing, but only one man answered and it was the Tire Barn in Tuckahoe. He also was closed and as I was about to hang up, this wonderful guy says come over and I will take a look at it. We drove there and he was waiting for us. As soon as the car was lifted one problem was seen, but a second tire was even worse. Not only did we get both tires repaired in a short time, but then the owner didn’t want to charge us. We want to tell everyone about the goodness of the owner of the Tire Barn and ask that you all use his services for anything he offers because there are not many people in this world who would make such a sacrifice on his day off to help strangers get to their family in NY. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting us to our family safely.
About a month ago my mom and I came here for the uHaul rental and found that her vehicle had a hitch but no wiring for the lights. The guy helping us made sure we had the proper hook ups so we were safe driving out of state and did some heavy lifting knowing that we wouldn't be able to get the set up on our own. I didn't get his name, but I wanted to express how grateful we were during a very stressful time of moving several hours away. If you're looking for a uHaul rental, this place was very helpful and kind. Thank you to the guy who took such good care of us!
Donny is great . He treated me with respect and took good care of me when renting a truck form him . Would recommend him to anyone who needs service on their cars or to rent a uhaul .
Right before going to the beach, I found my tire had a slow leak. Within 15 minutes the tire was plugged and I was on the road! Fantastic customer service, cannot recommend enough!
I got a flat and was stuck on the side of the road. Called Don and he came and picked me up and got the tire, took me back to the shop, fixed the tire and took me back to my car and put it back on. Great guy and an example of excellent customer service. I live in Woodbury and I will be making the drive down whenever I need service on my vehicle.
I like doing business with the local companies, especially when they they out perform the bigger companies. I called to get a price on tires and they beat the bug chain tire store. Got an appointment, showed up, and they knocked it out without any undue waiting. Can't say that about the big chains; always a big wait with them. The mechanic even searched for the wheel cover that I took off and put it back on. I had it kinda hidden in the rear passenger compartment. Will definitely do business with them again!
