Went into this Pharmacy to pick up a fairly urgent prescription for a house bound neighbour who had previously phoned, unbeknown to me, to be told that they had sent a text to the delivery person to call back into the chemist to collect the medication but whoever had not reported back.
I queued up for a good 10 or 12 minutes maybe longer while they apparently were searching for the drugs for the person in front of me who was eventually told to move to another area while they continued to look. Then it was my lucky moment and told the women the name I was picking up for. She looked on her screen and said there was nothing there for her (computer says no. Obviously a lie for some reason, maybe an AI diabolical ploy ) and if I would like to go to the other area there would be a "Bit of a wait" while they looked further. Going by the demeanor of the bloke in front of me I decided tell them to forget it and walked out before I lost it.
This is not the first time I have been kept waiting in this so called business for no apparent reason and with no apology. I could see at least 4 characters out the back 'looking busy' but this is sadly an all to familiar example of modern day customer service. Maybe I'm at an age where I expect too much like politeness and a certain amount of efficiency. Go to Boots across the road, they have their faults also but at least they smile while they wind you up ....

The woman at the counter needs to serve customers and stop constantly leaving the till to go round the back, either that or have someone for prescriptions and someone for customers. Always an unnecessarily long wait here
Doctor suspected my mum had a heart attack. Was told to ask pharmacy to supply a tablet urgently before I took mum to a&e. I did just that and the assistant just looked at me and said ‘she’ll have to wait. There’s 3 others ahead of you waiting for antibiotics.’ Made an upsetting situation even more so. Very unkind and dismissive, and I’m still bewildered by the whole exchange. Makes me grateful for my local pharmacy, they could not be nicer people. My mum ended up being admitted to hospital and was very poorly. We weren’t trying to queue-jump, just following doctors instructions. Shame on Tiptree Pharmacy.
Be nice to have my medication saying it out stock what if this was life you gonna turn around say sorry can't help because don't have medication full on joke !!!!!
It's ok, I never get the same make of tablets, they're always swapping who they buy from. Twice I've received tablets that shld be chewable and they clearly state on the paper that comes with it, these are not chewable. So I've decided not to use them anymore which is such a shame as the young lady who drops off the prescriptions is so lovely
I received a call at 9.00pm from a clinician on 111 to say that I needed to collect a prescription from Tiptree Pharmacy, I was told by the clinician that it was open until 10.00pm. I drove 15 minutes to find the pharmacy closed and could not get an response on the phone. I would like to suggest that the pharmacy change the notice on the front door and inform the NHS that you are not open at 9.00pm. so Frustrating
