Sadly the 24oz Tomahawk Steak was not available on the day (Good Friday) that I visited Tipsy Cow. I looked again at the menu and selected the 1 kilo mixed grill. YES, one kilo. There are many other appealing items on the menu.
There weren't many in when I arrived at around 11.40 but it was crowded by the time I left.
I did ask if I could take the remains of my meal home with me. A member of staff brought me a large enough piece of kitchen foil. (The remains ((weighing 400g)) served as a very hearty breakfast, today).
I'm pleased to say that the rest of my day went extremely well and the weather was kind to me. I might have liked to spend more time in Skegness on the day but that would have meant being caught in occasional heavy rain ????.
Me and my elderly friend called in here Sunday tea time . We both ordered a baguette which came with side salad and crisps . The staff were friendly and the service was good
Unusual shape pub inside, food available, front and rear entrances. Usual tap beer, no real ale. Toilets were upstairs. Beer was good and the staff were friendly. Enjoyed my visit.
Ordered a pint and half of lager, took 1 sip and left the rest. The place is dark and dingy and needs a good refurbishment. Headed across the road to witherspoon. We're the beer was 100% better and about £2 cheaper for the round.
Absolutely brilliant. Food amazing. A '2 meals for £10' deal runs from 12 noon until 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Very good value! See their onion rings stack! Very different
I came across tipsy cow by chance and gave it a try.
I ordered Fish&Chips and Bolognese Spaghetti.
Both meals were ok and came in on the 2 for £12 deal.
But sincerely, the restaurant literally needs to clean up for the seats and the tables.
Table was sticky and the seat was scattered with small pieces of food.
We dropped in for a coffee and saw the carvery was on .. it looked great so we were tempted.
Best carvery in a while. The server was very generous with the portions. Great food

We coming back next week from Bourne.
Dirty fries, processed chips swimming in sweet bbq sauce and cheese, waitress offering other diner's meals regardless of table numbers when ordering. Toilets disgusting had we smelt the fish and chips on offer upstairs, we definitely wouldn't have eaten there.
