Tina was the sweetest and funniest person, her diner was very welcoming and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. She cooked us some amazing homemade food. Feels like home <333.
Tina was very nice, and she made my friends and I a fresh meal after a long day of hiking in the Carrizo Plains. Food was quality and Tina served us some fresh iced tea we ordered before she prepared our meal. I will definitely stop by every time I pass through town.
The smell of the place reminds me of my granny's house. With plants and lil figurines wall murals it felt homey. Tina made us homemade burgers and ff. Very tasty ????
Can park semi truck on opposite side. Very old fashion but worth the stop for homemade meal.
I'm an OTR trucker who came to Maricopa to pickup a load of kitty litter, but passing by Tina's I had to walk down to check it out after I got loaded. When I told Tina that I have plants with me in my truck , my "carden" she got a bucket of water, busted out her scissors and gave me clippings of just about every plant she has in there. Reminds me of a Japanese expression: " In traveling, a companion. In life, compassion." I believe we live for chance encounters. Stopping at Tina's Diner was a streak of Road Magic.
Tina’s friendly welcome and charm made lunch here extra special. She brought us enormous mugs of chilled drinks and made our food to order as she hummed beautifully and chatted with us. It was a memorable meal in an otherwise desolate town.
This kind of diner reminds me of all what is good in America.
I stopped in while on the way to Carrizo National Monument. I spoke with Tina the owner for a while, really nice salt of the earth. She's from not far from where my Mother comes from, we talked about family and the times. The food was really good and too much to finish (I got the Hamburger). The decor is something out of time, with some quirkiness to it. I strongly without reservation recommend going here. To me its a slice of Americana that should be experienced.
Unique. Different. Down home. If you're looking for something off the beaten path then Tina's Diner is your stop. It's just you, Tina, and good food. Enjoy the experience.
Travelling around USA from Spain and finding Tina’s cafe was one of the best experiences we had.
Huge breakfast, incredible tasty and the place so charming.
