AWFUL DRIVERS
So to start i was told this was the best takeaway by many people who have frequently used your takeaway! I have heard nothing but good things.
I however have not had the pleasure of trying your food!!!!!!
I placed my order (yes it was quite late on in the evening) however i was told that it would be delivered around 2200/2205pm.
I was called at 2159 and told abruptly to “Open the door” At this point i didn’t think anything about what was said.
So I rushed out and met him 2 mins later!
To my surprise I met a very aggressive man who shouted at me you shouldn’t order food if you’re not home.
I said yes i’m sorry i was only two mins away, he then became very aggressive towards me and said some very offensive words, as i was only across the road i didn’t think this was warranted,
He told me multiple times that he finishes his shift at 10!!!
( I’m not sure how as the restaurant doesn’t close until 10pm)
I tried to pay and he very aggressively said NO card.
I said sorry i didn’t realise as i wasn’t told however, I said there was a cash point down the street and could get cash! (would of took 1-3 mins) The delivery driver then got even more annoyed so i just thought no thank you!
(Driver then threw the food in his own car like a grown up)
To summarise-
• Gutted i didn’t try the food
•Very aggressive delivery driver
• Don’t order if you are old or a child
• No cash!
Always the best food with super quick delivery! Such friendly staff 5 stars always!
Such lovely owners and the food is always amazing
This has been the best Chinese takeaway in town for years. Must try their sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style!! However, the last couple of times the quality had dropped very slightly. Not sure if there is a change in management or ownership. Hopefully, things will improve but still provides great quality food.
Have used this Chinese every week for years. Far superior to all the others. However…. since the new people have taken it over the food is nowhere near as good any more! They've upped the prices extortionately too! I do believe they'll lose a lot of custom!
Edit: The food has started to improve, however, still a bit miffed about the price hike, as the previous owners had only just raised the prices not long before leaving….
Have been going to this take out for years now and still love it. There is a good selection though always get the same thing :-) the delivery times are generally quick and the portions are very reasonable. Would recommend
Always good food, never had a bad meal there and I had a lot of them there and all over town, but always prefer Chinese food from here!! Always friendly nothing ever a problem, nice people run it, love thier deep fried ribs in batter!
Always delicious food, the staff as well as the owners are always so polite and lovely
