The food was good! The atmosphere was ok. Televisions with one sporting event are shown on all of them. The BBQ was good. The BBQ beans lacked flavor! The waitress was attentive and extremely polite! It was actually a quick meal, as needed! The floors ate clean along with the tables. Way too pricey for the amount of portion! That was really disappointing! Probably won't eat here again, but we tried it!
I have come to Tin Roof regularly for trivia on Thursdays and to watch sports on the weekends. The environment is great and provides something for everyone. Incredibly friendly staff. Trivia is a weekly highlight for my friends and I, and I appreciate that the DJ advocates for proper treatment of the waiting staff. I wish I saw this more often. Food menu could use some work for the prices.
My father's band played here and it was a nice time. This place is very accessible for those that are disabled or have special needs. They have a bar and an outside patio area.
I'm biased of course but the entertainment was great! They had a nice stage to perform on and the acoustics and sound quality were excellent!
The bar seemed well stocked and my husband enjoyed his drink. We didn't stay long because I wasn't feeling well overall but everyone seemed to be having a great time with ample room to dance and have fun.
We didn't have any food here so I'm not able to comment on that. They seem to have some cool menu offerings though.
I also noticed that it was an inclusive environment as well so I feel like people from all walks of life would enjoy themselves.
My only qualm was the security at the entrance. While I understand they're doing their job and need to make sure to protect this business and those that patronize it, they were quite rude. Perhaps due to the location they feel like that's necessary but it was a bit off putting for me as a customer.
Order from here via Door Dash. Of the three items ordered, I only received one. I seriously thought they gave me the wrong order. Tried to call the Dasher and the restaurant. No answer. Door Dash refused to give me a refund. Done with this restaurant and Door Dash. Looks like they block all reviews on Door Dash of their poor service. Beware.
My birthday was Sunday and I had the BEST time here!! The manager Marlon was awesome and let myself and my group sit on the terrace during the Chiefs game! Dylan was the server and was AMAZING!! And what was the best is that the manager, Marlon, checked on us all night to make sure my birthday was perfect!! If you’re visiting or live in Kansas City this is absolutely the place to BE!! ❤️
Had a fine evening until the DJ for trivia night called me out by name on the speaker for my tip not being enough. I was shocked that my waitress, Abigail felt the need to carry my tab up to the stage and have him publicly tell me that I gave her a middle finger for not tipping AT LEAST 20% and that I don’t deserve to eat out. Horrible experience and very uncalled for.
Love Tin Roof. The patio is perfect for summertime. The atmosphere is always great with good music. Absolutely love Abbie - Ask for her if she is serving, Super attentive and great customer service!!
Average overpriced bar food that is very consistent. Crowds can be packed, plenty of indoor space. Weeknight karaoke is good. Drinks have always been on point. One of the few places that I have enjoyed a hot liquor drink.
