I used to go there for years, and the experience was always amazing. The location is amazing with close proximity to the University of Kentucky campus. The rusting look in and out contrast the vibrant, beautiful, music, bands food, and waitresses that embrace your service. They were extremely receptive if my presence updating the establishment on GoogleMaps. The Tin Roof is a beautiful place with an outside seating area facing S. Limestone. It's a beautiful place to leisure, dance, and drink after a long day at work, or a taxing day in class....Big facts!!
Went to bathroom- heard guys in there and yelled while they turned the lights off. Walked off and guys were walking into the stall (women bathroom) very uncomfortable environment. Wouldn’t recommend for women. Especially drinking.. All love!! good food tho during the day lol.

The food is now not that great. The quesadillas ingredients taste like canned chicken. Was dry. Very very dry. The delicious authentic queso blanco has been traded out for TexMex queso and absolutely disgusting. Have to say my favorite hidden gem for food in Lexington is now no more.

Awesome food. Queso is just delicious. The fries are perfectly cooked with great seasoning. Chicken and Jack quesadillas are AMAZING! Place is really neat with a lot of knickknacks on the walls. Played good music. Waitress was great and never messed up the order. Definitely a hidden gem for food in Lexington. It's a totally different place during the day then the night life.
My friends and I love this place! However, yesterday, my friends and I had a SUPER rude server. We're not sure if she's new or not. The receipt said her name was Morgan.
$5 quesadillas and all day happy hour on Mondays, plus trivia at 8pm calls for a great time! I'm sure it gets more busy when the college kids (omg I'm getting old lol) are in town.
Great place to listen to a band, watch a game, and get a drink. Had a great time at the Tin Roof!
Not a bad place to go they keep it pretty clean they also maintain professionalism at all times. And it's for the most part a drug free area.
The food and service were good, and the overall atmosphere was all right. However, the live music was so loud that you could only talk to the person directly beside of you. Even if you were only going here to listen to the music, I would say it was still a little too loud. If you were going to socialize while you listen to music, forget it. Another thing and I know this is out of the Management's control but we are there maybe 45 minutes and there's a fist fight in the parking lot that requires paramedics to show up and this is before 9:00 p.m.
