Great food, lots of healthy options, good value for money. Amazing herbal tea, it wasnt the cheap bags, it was the dried pieces in a decent sized diffuser. Bit slow at the tills, which was disappointing but otherwise, very good. Would dine there again xx
Hadn't visited for a while. Table service now, which was quick. Lovely setting with tree in the middle. There's outside seating but it was too cold this time of year.
Sausage cob was perfect.
For those who fancy cake there's plenty of choice
Understaffed. Not wishing to complain at the servers... but the management for having these people run ragged. Way too many settings for the staff number. My food was nice. Another meal was really skimpy on salad leaves and thr goats cheese obviously just came out if the fridge. So too cold. Alright but there were probably better places to eat close by at comparable costs but better food quality.
Stopped by for a mid-morning coffee and a cake / pastry. Mum and I both thought the almond pastry looked a little bit burned. Waitress said "oh no it's not" so we ordered one.
I ordered Bakewell tart.
Ma said her pastry was awful. I didn't think much of the Bakewell either. As well as the burnt underside of the almond pastry, both items were the wrong consistency - heavy and stodgy.
We won't going to eat them so called one of the waitresses over; she asked the manager to come to talk to us. She explained that they don't make those particular cakes; they buy them from somewhere else. What does that have to do with anything I wonder? If you sell a product, you have to be happy with the quality of it.
It was only when we went on to say that we had wasted our money that she offered us something else. We think she could have dealt with us a bit better. I would have been straight in there with an apology; that is exactly what I teach the tourism and hospitality industry in my training workshops.
The cappuccino was good and the cafe itself is spacious, nicely decorated with indoor and outdoor seating areas.
We only stopped here for coffee because we were shopping in Fosseway Garden Centre. It wasn't my mum's first choice and now I can see why ????????♀️
Lovely Manger and staff clean like the fact that they came and took your order my friend is in a wheelchair and could get round easy. Also, they take cash now . Food very good.
We loved our food. Fast service; brilliant presentation. Everyone was polite. Garden centre also fab!
The restaurant is currently being refurbished, so only filter coffee available, which was good.We had poached eggs on toast I requested medium to well done, slightly undercooked for my taste. Would still recommend ????
My wife and I had lunch at Timothy’s upon arriving in the Cotswolds. The garden centre and restaurant had been recommended to us, and it’s easy to see why. We both ordered the coronation chicken on naan bread, which arrived within five minutes and was absolutely delicious, not to mention very good value. We would definitely eat here again as there were lots of other options on the menu. Excellent.
