This was our first time in this area. We went to enjoy the free Oscar, watching party that was being offered upstairs. We went downstairs to taste some of the great food that is offered. There is a huge selection of different varieties of food to choose from.there is plenty of open style seating. Lots of restrooms very clean atmosphere and very kind employees. If you’re ever in this area, make sure you stop such a great experience.
Brilliant place ! Nice seats in the middle. Standard timeout theme. We tried udon noodle katsu, vegetable ramen, goan curry and Panneer makhni. Very tasty offerings for decent price. I’d recommend all the dishes we’ve tried. The goan curry sauce was amazing
Cool and enjoyable space to grab food and drink. Lots of areas to check out and many types of food try. Great for large and small groups. I really enjoyed all the food I tried. Drinks are well made but the main bar can get very busy as the night goes on. Multiple floors with all food vendors on the first floor.
PROS: great variety of food, beer, wines and cocktails. Vibrant atmosphere makes it a great place to meet new and old friends.
CONS: expensive for a place with diner style customer service. Waiters are untrained and not professional. The place is too loud for a calm conversation. Difficult to find parking.
4-5-24 My wife and I enjoy eating and this place with a variety of choices to choose from is a great place. We were still full but we had to try something. I got the prawns from Avlì. My wife got the some Korean fried chicken from Urban Belly. The Prawns were cooked perfectly and those strings wrap around it gives it a crunch when you bite into it. The spicy mayo sauce goes good with it. The Korean fried chicken was perfectly fried which gives it a really nice crunch to it, yet the inside is nice and soft. The flavor that coats the chicken and tteokbokki is really tasty. They also have bars inside and busser to clean the area when done eating so no need to put the trays away. Overall, I would come back try other places. Parking could be hard to find. We parked up by Guinness for free and walked down, that’s if you can find parking.
As a food hall, the choices were pretty good, while the interior was just okay (nothing like Revival Food Hall with its unique signage and seating for every stall). We ordered the feta encrusted with sesame and honey, which was incredible! Other choices were pretty standard.
We had the beef brisket from the barbeque restaurant and it was dry and chewy. The fries were good but a little spicy. The Greek salad was good. Overall, not worth it and wouldn't recommend.
Ever since we've been to the Timeout Market in Lisbon, we have fallen in love with it. It has all the best restaurants the city has to offer, all in one place. They have very affordable options as well as high end fine dining. It's a convenient way to explore the diversity of food scenes of Chicago. I didn't know there is a TimeOut Market in Chicago, and was pleasantly surprised when stumbled upon it in the Fulton Market district. And it is wonderful. We will definitely come back when visiting Chicago again.
