The transmission on one of our work vehicles went out. Tim's repair quote was way less than the others' we received and he was able to get to the job right away. The work was done quickly so I could get the vehicle back in service! The job took extra hours but I was billed as quoted. Hard to find service like this in the Keys. Thank You Tim!
Wife and I are very familiar with large diesel motorhomes having traveled around the US. We've never had better service than from Tim. He found and replaced a 6K diesel generator, replaced brakes and bearings and full fluid servicing. Also, he took the initiative to repair other smaller items he found. We can't say enough about the quality and thoroughness of his work. Hard to find today.
We strongly recommend him for any of your diesel/RV repairs.
Very disappointed because of the high cost involved in troubleshooting my Onan generator and did not really find the problem.
They said it was a hose problem and "that I recall" I had already explained that I tested the pump Etc by running fuel straight to the pump: I could not get the generator started.
In addition they claimed that it might be the hose at the tank area.
But as there has been no spark at times I don't think it's a fuel problem only.
In my experience,having being trained in the automotive and electronic industry, I think almost $400, just to replace about 4-6 feet of hose was overpriced.
I realize it included Diagnostics, but I do not believe that was a fair price.
That should have been negotiated down and should have been with the thought of bringing back a customer.
Well I was already invested with a diagnostic fee so I just went on. Maybe that's my fault, but the fee to diagnose "the problem" left me with a quandary.
Well it's still not working, and I'm not going to argue the point, because I know they'll claim the tank has to be pulled down and the hose replaced at that area.
Well as I said before, there appears to be no spark at the spark plug at times.
That being said I realize RVs and the repair and maintenance of them can be high.
But surely working with a customer should be a priority, especially when they we're not sure that would address the problem.
This was my experience and it left me disappointed and with a dysfunctional generator and I'm not sure what to do.
I found Tim's on the net and am very glad I did. Was having problems with the carb on my onan 5500 marquis gold generator. I ordered it and received it in just 3 days(from Ca to NC). They answered all questions and were very, very fair on pricing. I am glad to see there are still people out there that believe that customers come first in all aspects. Again THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! All seems well, until the confusing invoice and the prices were criminal... Beware
I asked them to review the invoice and call me with any adjustments they might like to make... not even a return phone call...!
That being said I was very impressed with Todd, his knowledge and work ethic...
Sadly I will no longer be a customer.
Wonderful people to deal with. Great customer service and very knowledgeable. Will definitely do business again. Lots of places between Arkansas and California, but none I prefer more. Thank you again!

Called at 8am said have a guy to you in two hrs. At 3:30 pm finally showed. And I already had 90% of the work done. Took him 10 min to put the part on he brought me and charged 500$ very disappointed
I found an Onan 4K tune up kit online on there eBay account and thought I should just drive to pick it up. Callled drove down, paid, taken very quick process.. will use them for any of my RV parts. Thanks
