I ran out of gas while headed west on US 70 and was just able to coast into their parking lot. The owner was very helpful and nice ( didn't even make fun of me :-) ). He found me some gas in the shop and he and his tow driver/mechanic figured out how to get the gas in my tank. They were both very helpful and tried to refuse payment. Super honest. Apparently it's been there for 3 generations, old school service and honest work. I live almost an hour away but that may become my garage of choice. Thanks Scott and crew!
I happen to get a flat on U.S. 70 just by the shop. I managed to pull in and had the best customer service ever. Though they did not have the tire i needed, Scott helped me replace my tire with the spare i had and gave me information about some tire shops nearby. Overall, it was a great experience!!!
My car suddenly broke down on the highway on the way to the airport in New Bern, NC. It needed a tow & Tilghman's was a few miles away. I gave them & call & within 30 minutes one of the guys from the shop came out & towed my car to their shop & got it fixed up in no time. Honest people & honest work. Very happy with all the help getting me back on the road in such a short amount of time!
Scott, the owner is a great guy to deal with. He took over after his father passed and is following in his foot steps. Great local garage. A real pleasure to do business with him.
