Recommended by a friend who lives in Waimea, we have missed eating here several times. Finally, the opportunity presented itself and we were able to have lunch here.
Wow, nice portion sizes and the food looks delicious. Then you take a bite and find out of tastes better than it looks. The pollo loco was amazing, tons of flavor... The beef was a hot with my son and we all shared the pork. My wife had the spicy fish and wanted more spice, but they have wonderful sauces she added.
Stopped here after the tour of Waimea Canyon. Great flavor on the tacos. There are pretty big so 1-2 will definitely fill you up. Chicken and mahi mahi were both delicious. Don’t forget to add hot sauce
Local taco shack serving huge, flavor packed tacos! At first glance, the taco prices seemed high, but once you see how stuffed they are, you'll understand. Everything was very good and fresh. Sauces on the tacos also had bold flavors and complemented the rest of the ingredients! This spot certainly felt a few notches above the typical taco joint. Definitely hit the spot!
$27 for two tacos is wild but I'll say they were some of the best tacos I've ever had. Very huge and filling. Loved the lamb taco! It was seasoned and savory and delicious. The wait for the tacos was only about 2 minutes, quick and friendly service!
What a lucky find!! If you want some GREAT tacos on Kauai, stop here. We tried the carne, the kalua pork, and the fish and shrimp combo for the two of us. The homemade corn tortillas are delicious. Love both the hot sauces available. Prices were fair and the tacos are filling. One and a half was plenty for me but if you are really hungry, get two. Cute place and I'd return for sure.
Food was amazing with in house made corn tortillas that are thick and don't fall apart after folding. For us the best part was that the menu is completely gluten free.
This place was unfortunately overrated and underwhelming.
The tacos had a average taste to them, unfortunately. In fact, I got to the point where I had to use the hot sauce to add some flavour to it because there really wasn’t any unique distinct flavour that was coming out of them.
The wait time for them was what you would expect from a small business and the table seating inside was simple and effective.
Really wish the food was better for the prices that they charge.
Do yourself a favor, take a drive. Wherever you are on the island, go to Tiki Tacos. We’ve travelled the world and had tacos in the fanciest and most nonassuming of places. This place tops the list of them ALL and it’s a perfect little roadside taco shop.
The staff is amazing, the tacos are life changing. Just go.
