We were visiting from the west coast and looking for something that we don’t have, and landed at Tijuana Flats. Fun bright atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Nice bathrooms. The Saturday 2 for $20 was a really good deal for the amount of food that we got. The chips and queso come with a lot of chips! The hard shell tacos are long.
Very disappointed in the quality of this bowl. If I didn’t order this Togo and have to be at work I would have returned it on spot.
This bowl is supposed to have chicken and lettuce and I barely see either. Was a small bowl of bland rice and “no flavor” beans.
Jalapeños were not cleaned correctly so my bowl was filled with seeds.

Dueling queso was great! We also had steak and carnitas tacos with the cheesy shell upgrade and Steak chimi wet. Finished the night with Cookie dough Flautas and churro bites. The strawberry sauce was super! The salsa bar was neat. The only thing we found weird was the floors were really really slippery but there was no water. Becareful!
Every time we visit FL, we hit Flats. Love thier Tacos! And if you're brave enough, the HOT bar as well!
So good! I ordered the nachos and they came full of all my favorite items! I tried out one of their margaritas and for it being wine based I was very impressed! The manager recommended it and I'm so glad I took his word! I love thier new out door dining area as well!
Order food to pick up. I order blackened chicken nachos. When my husband arrived home there was no chicken on my nachos. I called them and they offered to make them again so my husband had to go back and finally the new order had the chicken in it.
Happy they fixed the problem. The manager I spoke on the phone with was nice.
One picture is the first order with zero chicken and the other picture you can clearly see chicken in it.
Person taking orders talking to a table and made us wait to give our order. She was very friendly in taking order however. Tables dirty with old food and few places to sit. Food tasted pretty good.
Great service, good music, cool atmosphere, and tasty food. The new wings as other user noted need more time on the fryer. Stick with their other menu options.
