If you miss New Orleans, have never been but want to, or just want some delicious food, Tibby's is the place to go.
The food is superb, everything my table ordered was tasty. Rita's chicken, the jambalaya, the gumbo, gator bites, it was all delicious. My jambalaya was seasoned perfectly, and had a decent amount of heat. They offer both Tabasco and Crystal hot sauce, I obviously went with Crystal.
Our server seemed to not be in the friendliest mood, and seemed to stick to one location at our table of 6. My girlfriend ordered hot tea, and instead of placing the scalding hot mug on the table, handed it to my brother to pass to her. Needless to say, he burned his hand. Towards the end of the night though, our server seemed to become a bit friendlier and made a bit more effort.
The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a New Orleans themed restaurant, leaning towards boisterous, in the best way.
Overall, I'll definitely go back, even today if I could.
My daughter who lives in Orlando took us to Tibbys because we love NOLA and we celebrated her birthday! It was very authentic Cajun cuisine and atmosphere. Michelle our server was great and made sure we had a great dining experience. We had appetizers of gator cheesecake and onion rings. I ordered the chicken tenders sandwich on Texas toast and took home plenty of leftovers. We all had a wonderful time at Tibbys.
Six of us went there on April 28, 2024 at 9p. Abby was the best wait staff. She just got it all right. We wanted or waited for nothing. We had the shrimp and alligator cheesecake. Excellent! The Maw fries. Awesome! I personally had the jambalaya, Crawfish pie, and chicken file’ gumbo. The food was excellent. Germaine with a G was a gracious manager and host. He surprised us with a beignet for everyone for dessert. Yes, I recommend this restaurant. Yes I will be back.
Such a hidden gem???? The colorful interior design is such a warm welcome and embraces the New Orleans' style. The staff is always friendly and attentive. There's so much to recommend. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves.
Listen, I wish I could give this place more stars!! I actually visited last year in July, 2022 but forgot to leave a review! I was visiting my employees in Orlando and wanted to take them out for lunch. They recommended this place and it did NOT disappoint! I ordered the fried pork chops, white rice, and substituted spinach for the red beans and it was DELISH!! Everyone else had different dishes and said it was FANTASTIC ( I was so jealous and wanted to try everything on the menu lol) !! Overall highly recommend!!
This place is incredible. The atmosphere is such a vibe. Juan greeted my friend and I with a huge smile and positive energy that was contagious! Mary, the sweetest, most amazing server I’ve ever had!! She made great recommendations and she did not steer us wrong. The Shrimp Etouffee is out of this world. You can even do half shrimp and half crawfish. AND THE BEIGNETS!!!!! Don’t get me started on how hot, sweet and delicious they were. I will definitely be returning! Juan and Mary, THANK YOUUU!
OMG, I can't recommend this place enough. A friend and I tried Tibby's as we like to go to smaller restaurants rather than chains. It was hard to decide what to have as the menu has such a great variety. Our food was delicious, came out quickly, and piping hot.
Mary was our server, and she is fantastic. I can be a picky eater, and she didn't balk at any of my requests. Better yet, she anticipated our needs before we could voice them. Signs of an exceptional server. The manager even came by the table to make sure everything was to our liking. I'm gonna be sure to check out the other locations and let you know if this experience is the norm. Sorry can't write anything about the atmosphere as we dined outside and I never went inside. Something to look forward to next time.

The fried pickles were awesome - thin sliced. I tried the jambalaya and have to say it's not my preference so can't say if it's good or not. My friend LOVED the fish po boy!!!
