Best KPortal Reviews
Customer service here was the worst. As you walk in and seat yourself, no one acknowledges your existence with a greeting, welcome, or "we'll be right with you." They a while to take our order. I ordered breakfast with chocolate milk instead of coffee. The tostada with extra butter was really good, the bread was exceptional. The hot chocolate lacked flavor, and it tasted like nothing. Overall, the breakfast was average. The pan con Bistec was ok. The mamey shake was really good, perfectly balanced in flavor and not sugary. By the time we finished our food, we couldn't get the waitress attention to bring our bill. They were basically ignoring us. What happened next is what really bothered us. When it was time to pay, the waitress brought an electronic pay machine that only showed total owed, and it doesn't indicate an itemized list of what was ordered with their price. We added the tip, and the total seemed a bit high for only a breakfast, sandwich, and a shake. But when we tried to scroll on the screen of the machine, we couldn't see what we were paying for. We inserted a credit card on the machine and paid anyway and planned to check the printed receipt. Then she couldn't print the receipt since the machine didn't have paper. I settled for a text receipt, and once I reviewed it, I saw a 15% service charge as well as the tip we issued. Basically, THEY RECEIVED GRATUITY TWICE! They failed to disclose the service charge prior to payment. They were misleading in their lack of overall disclosure, and I was fuming mad. Basic restaurant practice includes the customer receiving an itemized bill with full disclosure of any service charges before payment. Their audacity was unbelievable. There were only two waitresses, and both lacked common customer service skills. The place wasn't full with customers. Atmosphere was a bit loud with music and a TV with commercials running at the same time, while competing with noices from the machines in the cafetería section behind the bar. The owner was very nice and stopped by with friendly greetings, but unfortunately, it doesn't make up for the overall poor experience at this place. Don't bother coming here, it's not worth your time or money.
I love the Cuban sandwich they made for me. I recommend anybody to go
The best breakfast in miami! And the service is amazing. We come here every weekend!
This a must go to place with authentic Cuban food and the employees and owner are so welcoming and nice. Family owned and operated and the food is delicious every time I go and priced extremely well.
Took forever to get my order as everyone else went in and out here for lunch only for my “pizza” to be extremely hot and sloppy. Had to beg staff over and over to properly cut the pizza as I couldn’t lift a slice off the pizza to eat it.
Just enjoyed an authentic Cuban Feast at Tia Cacha Cafe. The Arroz con gris was delicious, the tamales estilo Cubano were something totally pleasing to the palate. Tostones were super tasty, but the main entree-“Ropa Vieja” was out of this world. Best I’ve ever tasted. Top this off with a delicious pineapple licuado, and a tiny cup of “cafecito Cubano” and there’s your feast. The service and the personal attention of the owner, Jacinto was superb.
This is a restaurant you MUST try when you visit Miami.
Awesome the service was like being with family. The food awesome rabo encendido, tamal, etc etc..... Try una coladita
Horrible experience food was average small portions prices crazy had 2 breakfast and 2 lunches my bill was 92.07 also they had the audacity to include 15% gratuity we sat at counter be warned don't waste your time or money.
