Like stepping back into the 50s fine if you don't mind 50s cobwebs , two of the smallest cheese toasties ever they came on a plate , nothing else . Made with a small loaf of breed. A pint of beer , diet coke and two of the tiny cheese toasties £20 for cash ???????????? you just have to go for the experience
A group of us stopped for lunch whilst walking the Inn Way between Kettlewell & West Burton. Had a lovely chat with the landlord and a couple of great pints of Theakstons, plus lunch in the beautiful sunny garden overlooking the fells.
Stopped off whilst cycling at this Fantastic unchanged real old school pub and hopefully it will be kept that way,Friendly Landlord & Landlady good home cooked food ,A real Gem pubs like this are becoming hard to find .
The good old days in a proper, genuine, old-worldly pub - not many left with textbook characters like this landlord behind the bar.

Just stopped for lunch and a beer, best kept beer, simple tasty food proper chips, lovely garden and views, very chatty host friendly, helpfully, more people should get out and visit these old Dale's pubs before we loose them, I will be back, great pub for a walk to or from or bike meet, cycle or motor, ttfn Andy
It was a very hot day, stopped for a nice cool drink, sat in the beer garden, nice views, very pleasant.
My son and I stayed just along the street for a few days and we thoroughly enjoyed our times there - Good Ale and Good food, Lynne and Bruce were also very hospitable and helpful. Recommended.
