Came here for lunch with my husband and child. The people who work here are very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the smash burger with bacon, fries and guarana. The food was absolutely delicious! Perfectly crispy french fries, and the burger was out of this world! They even ground the beef at the time so everything is very fresh. Love that they have Brazilian style green mayo. The other burger options on the menu were very interesting as well. Definitely a place we will be back to!
For Starters the lady who owns the establishment is the sweetest! I live 4 hours from Orlando but have made it a point at each visit to come here and eat! Not once has my meal or service been below outstanding! The Super Cheese is one of our favorite but so far we havnt had anything that has disappointed. Don't forget to ask for their Thunder Sauce it is amazing with their fries! 10/10 would recommend!
Most friendly service and incredible hamburgers. The flavors are unique but true. Nothing freezes dry and all fresh vegetables. Being next to an Orlando Police Substation, it's also very safe.
We are in Orlando/Kissimmee on vacation and decided to come here for a burger. My boyfriend and I love a good burger so he looked online for a burger joint with good reviews and this was the place. We drove over from Coronado Springs to eat here. The lady who took our order was super nice! I got the Babybel burger and it was hot and delicious and the melted Babybel was running out the middle...yum! My grandson was with us and he ordered the chicken nuggets; he is 10 and is a nugget expert and he said these were some of the best he has ever had!
The kids wanted burgers, so this place was appealing when I saw Mozzarella Sticks in the burger in the Google review pic. I got the Picanha Burger and Wow, the different flavors hit you at one time. It was more than I expected. They saw that I had a veteran hat on and asked if I was a veteran and offered me a discount. I always support veteran owned or businesses that support the military. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and the owner gave my son a free order of fries even though I offered to pay. This place is worth my drive from Kissimmee to try the rest of the items on the menu.
My family and I spent a lil over a week in Florida. We drove from Texas and made a few stops along the way. We all LOVED Thunder Burger! The service was outstanding. The food was fresh and had great portion sizes. My kids raved about the fries. The staff was friendly and really sweet about our 3yr old being a silly toddler all over the place.
I googled "Best burgers on International Drive" and Thunder Burger was third. It should be first!! The restaurant was spacious and clean. My son and I both got the Smashburgers Oklahoma style w fries. They were delicious! Don't be afraid of the green mayo, it's the bomb! So is their homemade sauce. We also had the oreo and Nutella shakes which were made fresh and sooooo good.
The biggest distinction Thunder Burger has over other IDrive eateries is the service. We met the owner who was super friendly and accommodating. We learned they make everything fresh every day and they seek to make their customers have the best experience they can.
Come visit these folks. It's definitely worth it.
I should've taken pix of the burgers before we completely demolished them, but our empty trays should tell ya what you need to know!
You know that moment when you see a burger commercial on TV from one of the chain restaurants and that burger craving hits you? ...but then you get to that same chain restaurant just to receive a tiny patty slapped in mushy bun? Yeah, I'm tired of those moments as well.
Therefore here is solution:
You get burger craving, just get here. Fries are crispy, yet perfect.
Burger is from another planet. Just look at my picture, looks like it belongs on TV for a commercial. No joke. Whoever the cook is, he has a ton of pride in his work. I've never saw a burger looking like this. Never.
I have only one complaint, I wish I was local so I can stop by whenever I want. (I live in NC and im here in vacation).
Server was nothing short of impressive.
This place has a standard of its own. Absolutely amazing.
