The place looks fun. The water seemed a little dirty today though. But the kids love it.
Great place to swim Sandy Beach very clean the water is always warm people are nice.
The bridge is constructed too low. This is great if you're swimming and jumping from the bridge to cool off in the Ipswich River. But it's lousy if you're paddling through or if you're living in one of the houses that is upstream from the bridge. The bridge becomes a dam that floods the neighborhood every spring. This bridge and occasional beaver dams make the river not navigable in those areas. When the water level lowers in the late summer this bridge might become navigable again but the rest of the river suffers.
Always a good time. People are friendly.. your not supposed to but I love jumping off bridge.. make sure you are in the middle... Right above sign is my reference.. have fun! Cheers
Area covered in geese droppings. Dogs off leashed and the day we went there were breeds there unleashed that aren't ones I would recommend around small children. Not patrolled or managed well by PD or the town of middleton
Great place to cool off. The sand leaves something to be desired but for a swimming spot this place is great
I love Thunder bridge because its basically the only place where I can jump off of a bridge and have a really great time ❤
Small swimming area on the Ipswich River in MIDDLETON MA on East Street. Almost on the Boxford MA line.
