What a find!!! On our road trip to the Isle of Skye we stopped off to look for a desperately needed bathroom and found this place. It is owned and operated by three sisters from the town. The baked goods are so delicious and not too sweet. I ordered the rhubarb and custard cake which was the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. We stopped again on our way back and I got the carrot cake! They have other non-bakery items and an assortment of cute items for sale in the bakery. I will return here again some day!
Three sisters bakery were recommended to us by a friend for our wedding cake supplier.
After researching them we got in touch and they invited us along for a tasting. They have a huge variety of cake on offer and each is a delicious as the next. We wanted offer our guests a cake table with variety. It was difficult to decide what cakes we wanted, since they were all so appetising.
Our guests loved the cakes and I’ve never seen so many people take cake at a wedding.
Three Sisters did excellent and we look forward to visiting the cafe soon.
Sorry to give negative feedback on a business but we went today for lunch and came out very disappointed. I ordered the meatball sandwich, that was basically 3 meatballs and sauce on a small amount of toasted bread with some salad leaves and dressing. My wife ordered a seafood tasting platter which in our opinion was probably canned fish served in small ramekin dishes with some oatcakes. Drinks consisted of a cappuccino for me and my wife was advised on a cranberry and soda which was mostly soda and a splash of cranberry. This all cost £23.00 for a very small lunch. The menu was extremely basic with very little in the way of choice.
We went into Three Sisters to get more information about their catering services. The employee at the bakery told us that no one in the shop could help us, and that we should email a woman who is in charge of catering.
We sent an email to the address that the employee had provided us that afternoon and waited a full week with no response. We then forwarded the email to the primary email address listed on their website, and have waited five days now with no response
Very rarely do I leave negative reviews, especially for small businesses, but we've made three attempts to hire this bakery using three separate communication channels and have been re-routed or ignored with each attempt.
It's now been two weeks since our initial inquiry, and we were forced to find another caterer for our event in September
Shocking experience a few Saturdays ago. My friend and I are both vegetarian. We went for lunch and we both ordered the tomato and mozzarella quiche. When it finally arrived it turned out to have ham in it which my friend only discovered after she had swallowed a bit and had to rush to the WC where she promptly threw up. When the lady who appeared to be in charge was informed she apologised and removed the meals. We waited for some other response but were ignored. The table next to us asked what had happened. It turned out that one of them had ordered the quiche thinking it was tomato and mozzarella. They went on to say that they were Muslim and therefore didn't eat pork. When their lunch arrived they asked the waitress what was in the quiche and she maintained that it was tomato and mozzarella. The customer insisted that the waitress check with the kitchen and it turned out that there was ham in it. The customer ordered something else. Meanwhile we were still being ignored so we had no choice but to get up and walk out. Very poor service!
This place is terrible! Most of the staff are so unfriendly and rude. I came here on Tuesday during my lunch break i tried to take a seat at a small table as i was myself and had to wait for the two waitresses to let me pass. One of them then asked me what i was in for in a cheeky manare and gave me a menu. I then waited a long time to be served and end up asking one of the waiters if i could order as i only had a 20 minute break. He was polite and friendly and took my order, i ordered a cappachino and bread, he also offered to put my coffee in a takeaway cup just in case i had to leave. I asked him if they could make sure it was suitable for me to eat as i am vegan and had my own fillings with me. The guy said he would check with the chef which one i could eat. After that the girl who previously gave me a menu came to serve me after 10 minutes of taking a seat the place was also not that busy and they had 3 staff working. As i am in catering previously being a waitress and currently a chef i know what good customer service is and didn't feel it from any of the two girls working there, the guy was helpful right enough. The waiter brung me my coffee and three slices of bread (to which i later found out are not vegan they are gluten free) I ate the bread and drank my coffee and got up to pay so i could leave. I asked the girl behind the till how much it was to which she replied 3 pounds 90p So then i asked how much the bread was and she replied 1.50! For two very small slices of bread. So that meant the coffee was 2 pounds 40p. Which to me was a very high price for a mediocre cup of coffee also. I left feeling dissapointed and annoyed the whole experience was very off putting from the service to the price i will not be returning. The only thing that lightened the situation was the helpful waiter, and i assume the bread situation wasn't his fault it's was the chef in the kitchens so i don't have any Ill feelings towards him.
Had afternoon tea with friends and enjoyed every minute. The food was more than plentiful and delicious, the service was great and delightful views. Highly recommend the Three Sisters Bake.
Americano Coffee very strong and served in smaller cup than tea cup given to my daughter . Also the soya milk was not Barista so it curdled badly in the coffee. Thus tasted and looked horrible. Cakes were ok but expensive.
