Love this wee gem of a place. We are in quiet often. Very friendly staff food is delicious love the curry, chips, pizza and chicken burgers. The doughnuts and trays bakes are delicious would highly recommend
Had dinner last night for the first time from here. Kids meal of chicken goujons was 3 very thin breaded chicken strips, not proper goujons. 7 year old was still hungry after eating it. The new chicken boxes not really worth the money either. Very thin slices of cooked chicken, was expecting breaded or battered chicken. It had very little sauce on it compared to the photo posted on Facebook advertising it, and the onion and peppers on it wasn't fried like it says in the description, it was just chopped up raw onion and pepper. The chicken boxes were very cold also, even though they were collected on time and we live a very short drive away. Quite a small portion of food also considering the price if almost £8 per chicken box. Usually we love here for coffees and sweet treats but will be giving the hot food a wide berth next time.
Love this place! From the milkshakes to the doughnuts. The pizza is really good and the toasties are unreal. The caramel tartlets are lovely when they are in stock
I had chips and curry sauce the curry sauce was like water not good chips were not nice. Will never be back in to get food. Not good at all The Ice cream out of there is not good as well so don't waist your money in there just stay away from the place I would say. Offered me free chips and curry will never be back in the place it really bad and would say don't go in and waste your money in there it really bad.
Don't usually leave reviews, but I had to for this. Chips were really soggy and the goujons/nuggets were overcooked and spongy like they had been reheated. The cookie tasted like stale oil or like it was baked in a dirty oven or something. Really wanted to try this place, but now I wish I'd saved my money.
Ice cream shake was great!
The Boston Creme Donut did not use authentic (heavy) custard, but it's the typical cream horn filling that i find too light. Otoh, they were fresh and the chocolate on top was delicious. Teas and cappuccinos were as good as any I have had here. Service was wonderful; the server (owner?) was extremely accommodating and friendly. I'll go back.
No fresh cream option, only the fake hydrogenated/plastic stuff. Last time I had a filled donut the fake cream was hard and brittle and the donut was dry. Must have been sitting for days.
My absolutely favourite Donut shop. Coffee is beautiful.... especially the latte's . Highly recommend the puddle Donuts or ice cream sundaes
