Best KPortal Reviews
Three dollar is Atlanta's definitive wing spot. All flats extra crispy hot with blue cheese. This is the how wings are done. Other places may have a better wing every now and then...but consistently these are the best wings. The sauce is perfect. A buddy of mine has spent years trying to replicate it -franks, butter, garlic powder, salt, pepper, something magical. The blue cheese is also the standard by which others are measured. Go get these, they are the best!
My boyfriend and I love Three Dollar Cafe. We have been to two other locations previously, so we decided to give this one a go! We love Three Dollar’s TDC hot sauce, which is really what keeps us coming back. Along with cold beer, good steak fries, and pretty good chicken! We have been going to the TDC in McDonough for years, so we decided to give this one a try recently. The restaurant itself is typical of a sports bar, nothing fancy which is perfect for us. Lots of TVs so you can watch whatever game you what! We ordered our “usuals” from our previous TDC experiences, including the TDC wrap and wings. The food was superb and satisfied our TDC craving! What we have now learned is that all the TDC have different sauces, so some of the locations won’t have the same sauce as another. For instance, the McDonough TDC has a garlic parm option for wings. This one does not, but they offer hot lemon pepper which is not an option in McDonough. So just keep that in mind! The TDC wrap was phenomenal, and it’s always been my fav TDC food. The TDC hot sauce was amazing, as usual, and I was so happy that the food was the same as my OG TDC! My boyfriend loved his wings, and the fries were perfect. The food was absolutely delicious!! Most definitely recommend this TDC!
I went here last night with a co-worker for a quick bite . We both ordered the blackened fish tacos. One server took our order a guy and another brought the food out a woman. Having received news of an emergency.I asked for the food to be to go and received an attitude about it, so I then ask for a box to box it up myself and she brought my box with the same attitude as if I did something wrong! The guy didn't come back when we tried to flag him down b to get the check... After waiting for 40 min he finally walks by grabs the check and didn't even ask if we needed anything else. He also had a rude attitude. If getting food to go is a problem perhaps you should let people know that versus giving us attitudes! Customer service and communication is key. I will not be coming back here. The food ended up being pretty good but the service sucked. There only person there who actually helped us out was an Asian lady. Who saw us looking around for our server and have us the things we needed and bussed our table. She was nice but the other two no bueno!!
I've been going to this location since i moved to the Atlanta area in the late 90s, but haven't been in awhile. After moving to Sandy Springs recently, I took my family there, and it didn't disappoint! It was just as I remembered. The wings were delicious and the atmosphere is great. Tons of tvs, but not too loud to still have a conversation. This is definitely our old/ new go-to place for wings. We will keep coming back!
Great burgers! Great songs! Good Service too! It's nice to eat somewhere that you used to frequent 20+ years ago, and it still tastes the same!! Thanks for the memories and nostalgia!! However, I feel like the tables need to be resurfaced. Their a little sticky from the cleaning chemicals. Would not stop me from eating there!! STILL the BEST burgers in town!! ✌️????
Awesome staff and good food. Been working in the area and have eaten there probably half a dozen times in the last 2 weeks. It is always good food and nice staff. I recommend 3$ Cafe as a good spot for lunch.
I love the 3 Dollar Cafe. Came with my Booskina for lunch. She had a modified version of the Taco Salad, which she reported to be very delicious. I had the Fish Tacos because its one of my favorites. Depsite this being a different location that I normally visit, all my expectations were met and I was very satisfied. Eric was our server and made sure we got everything fast and hot. As a former server/bartender/floor manager, I can tell he is seasoned and makes it look effortless in a place full of people. We will definitely return.
This place has delicious food!! We just moved here on Sunday and we have ate here 3 times already! We did take out and the food was still hot and very good! Nice people working there too!
